"The pealadière here was delicious. the house crust was beured and the garnish of caramelized onions and anchovies was smooth and quite delicious. We were hungry and therefore shared several dishes, ranging from spring rolls to pancakes, ending our afternoon respite with honey dates, cakes and mint tea. Inside, you will find picturesque walls with dark walls, where local bottled products are located. jam pots, bottles of olive oil and other delicacies add a warm touch to this coffee. and don't worry, there's toilets in the premises if you need to answer the call of nature. I couldn't resist and I insisted that the owner let me carry the apron and be a chief owner, would it be for a few minutes. It's a long-time dream of possessing something as beautiful as this one. It was exactly how I imagined a coffee niçois. mariass 1901 is a halal family business, led by a very hospital team of fathers and daughters. this coffee can accommodate 5 inside and 10 outside. facing a public park for children, I was sitting among the chic inhabitants, young parents discussing with each other about a coffee and a meal. Everyone knows everybody. Here you will see people greeting and being greeted by friends, neighbours at all times. As a tourist, I felt well received and people were friendly, curious and warm. I am now back to Paris and I miss the warm hospitality of mariass."

very well located, close to the jean avenue doctor, but in a quieter street - perfect for a relaxing break or a lunch! The staff is absolutely wonderful and I had an incredible soup of bulgeur home. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

this pretty restaurant is right in front of the nice cathedral. It's a very nice place to sit and take an espresso. I had the brunch that included an omelette, a crêpe, fruits, orange juice, a croissant and coffee, all for less than 20 euros. food was simple but very well done. I would strongly recommend this place!

I fell on this little jewel on a Saturday, where we had lunch at three. served by the very charming owner who explained everything we asked and provided a good meal. we returned the next day to brunch and still had the right to excellent service and excellent cuisine in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. a really nice experience. beautiful homemade jam and good quality tea.

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning and loved our meal! we sat outside at a small table on the sidewalk, which allowed us to look at the wonderful people. I had the brunch option including a croissant, a coffee with milk, a cheese omelette and fresh fruit and it was delicious. My wife had the same but with the crêpe instead of the omelette and she loved hers too. They were super nice here and very convenient with the Americans. I strongly recommend this little restaurant for breakfast/brunch!
