Maison Marie - Speisekarte

After a long evening out we arrive as they are about to close. We are met with a smile and feel very welcome. We order mojitos .... the best we've ever had before. Well worth a visit.

Just stopped in for a happy hour beer. Good prices, friendly service. Most notable is the spacious and nice layout plus the attention paid to cleaning. Would come again if opportunity arose.

We were staying nearby and enjoyed sitting here with a coffee or a glass of wine. Plenty of outdoor seating and a very spacious interior. We ate dinner here on one occasion and it was good. The service was very attentive and the food was fine.

This was a real good surprise. The service was excellent throughout from the initial welcome to the goodbye. And the food was very well seasoned - special mention for the artichoke dressing and for the avocado and tuna starter. One area of improvement could be the restaurant lighting.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner, French wine, appetizers of calimari and some sort of wonderful chicken egg roll, really good. Great veal dish in French sauce, risotto with prawns and to top it off, profiterole to flippin die for! Awesome Parisian dinner, would recommend and come back. And...very friendly and helpful staff!

Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine 1 entree and two mains 80€. I had duck confit which was all right. It came with a wonderful salad of miniature romaine and fries. My partner had gazpacho and penne with aubergine. Service was friendly enough but they took away my partners dishes while I was still eating and tried to take mine. The pasta was a hair short of el dente and while most of fries were crunchy, one larger one was not cooked. So far food in Paris is all right and I have yet to be wowed.

We were staying at an adjacent hotel and stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner on our first day in Paris, and returned thereafter a couple of times during out trip. Nice cocktails and wonderful food to relax and hang out. The staff was very friendly and did not get annoyed with my umpteen questions :) Very centrally located yet away from the main drag of St. Michel. Appeared to be frequented by locals, and definitely wasn't a tourist trap. Recommend this for a relaxed evening after a full day of exploring the city!

maison marie is a rather new place to eat and its not the type of tiny place where you don't feel at home because of the lack of space. all the contrary here you could choose where to seat with view on the street or comfortable in a corner inside. looking at the menu I fund several fine option of the French cooking and I finally chose "blanquette de veau" with potatoes and vegetables. very good option together with a glase of red wine of the house and a coffee for around 20.- euros a real bargain and I would return on my next journey to Paris.

We were trying for a restaurant just down the street from this place. They were fully booked and could not accommodate us, so we came here. So glad we did. The female server we had was super helpful in helping me translate the french words on the menu that I did not know (I know some). She was wonderful as was the food, although some of the menu is not "typical" french cuisine. I ordered the risotto with shrimp and my husband had the aubergine tomato basilic penne. Both were delicious. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse, OMG YUM!! If I return to Paris I would definitely return.
