"the most important is eating, and it was very close to what we lived in asia. so a very good point for it! the service was at first a little creepy, but the 3 waiters/kitchen were very friendly and smiling. the ambiente is bizarre with an uncoherent decoration, without music and a very strange light. located in a very tourist place of amsterdam, they might think that they are atrocious and eat a very average eat, but not, we will surely return! they deserve a second attempt, and I will suggest to put the music on this time"

I have no opportunity to judge the authenticity of food, I can only say it seemed reasonable. the portions were large enough (which was great.) the price level was good for a restaurant in a tourist area and service was friendly and mostly knowledgeable. we're going back.

the meat cure, kari beef, is excellent, and the bark meat and the huhn satay is the best I had since my last in malaysia. we went to dinner last night, just before the restaurant began to fill, and the service was excellent. the kitchen has obviously limited capacity and, if there are numerous tables waiting to be served when they arrive, they may have to wait one for their meal. but eating is worth waiting for it. I wish this restaurant was in london or, better still, guildford.
