Marston's The Sarsen Stones, Farnborough

Just come back from a great lunch with friends at the Larsen stone had a good lunch , good food portions clean place.

Must say this has gone up slightly since my last visit the food was actually very nice and very hot the staff were polite and helpful good value for money

Have been to a few Marstons recently and this one has to be my favourite. Food was excellent and all the waitresses were a credit to the manager . Who herself couldn’t have been more accommodating Speisekarte ansehen

Lunch for 6 on a Monday, it has easy parking and nice decor, staff are friendly and efficient. The food is OK but only warm, not hot which is a disappointment. However the price for all of us plus at least one drink each was only £90 including tip!!

We had a lovely lunch here. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. Staff friendly. The rotisserie chicken is the best and very moist and tender. There was a reduced menu on when we went but there was still plenty of choice. we will definitely be returning for the chicken.

6 adults visited in December for Sunday lunch as a birthday celebration. Very attentive, friendly and helpful service, including candle and birthday song for my son, which really made it special. Food was lovely, especially vegetarian roast dinner. Relaxed atmosphere, despite being busy. Prices very fair. Recommended! Speisekarte ansehen

We dined at Sarsen Stones for the second year in a row on Christmas Day. Just like last year, the food was outstanding, beautifully plated, and flawlessly prepared, with attentive servers. However, unlike our experience last year, the timing between courses was a bit rushed this time and the drink service was disappointingly slow, which is why we have given it a 4-star rating.

The Sarson Stones is a really lovely modern chilled out pub, I went there with a best friend for an early dinner. We shared some halloumi bites as a starter (although they arrived with the main courses), I had the Chicken Tikka and she had the Chicken goujons burger. Both dishes looked and tasted stunning, they also do rotisserie chicken that you can see cooking from the dining area!Very reasonably priced, even if you went on a day when the Eat Out to Help Out scheme isn't running.Only slight problem was that it took a long time for the food to arrive but this is understandable as its freshly cooked to order.

Food was perfectly served, hot, clean and as ordered apart from the impressive quality of the food we ordered, the service by Saffron really stood out.It takes a lot for me to get off my gelatinous arse and write a review, but when the service has been exceptional then its worthy of the effort and time. Saffron was approachable, warm, friendly, polite, welcoming, non judgemental, hard working and a total credit to the eatery. This woman seemed very capable but without any of the smug arrogance that usually comes from a person who waits on tables but knows they are capable of far more.I have no doubt that there is not a situation that she could not handle, and she'd be an asset to any company...
