"I have been to the flat before, and I absolutely love it. The flavours of the pizzas are so well put together. Sadly on one occasion, I ordered a kids size pizza for myself as a takeaway (I live alone and with an eating disorder, so therefore, for me, it seems silly for me to buy a pizza I can’t finish). I was judged and made to feel like a terrible person for ordering a small pizza for one person/adult. I will not eat a whole pizza to myself, and have a complex about throwing food away, and wasting money. Not only was the managers snidey comment of ‘I’m sure a child wouldn’t be ordering a spicy sausage pizza’ belittling, but I was also charged the same price for an adult pizza, without being made aware of this before hand: I found this really unfair, and somehow felt guilty, even though I am still spending my money, and have been a couple of times before with friends. I’m sure you get many couples come in and share one pizza between two of them, which is the same as one adult buying a small pizza to themselves."

"I've been to Cosy Club in Exeter many times, and it is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, other times not so, and once they had run out of vegan mains which was very disappointing, especially as I had booked a table for my boyfriend's birthday meal! The vegan menu changes occasionally, but generally offers good options. There is much more choice if you go between 9am and 6pm, so I would advise visiting for breakfast, brunch, lunch or early dinner. The tapas options are really nice, as is the vegan panini, but unfortunately there is only one dessert option which is a sorbet. Staff are very friendly, and the building is interesting because it used to be a hospital; it feels really grand with very quirky vintage furnishings. The location is a bit out of the way from the main part of the city centre, in an area better known for office buildings so it is popular with office workers for after work drinks."

"We had a really lovely time at the Daisy Cafe for a late morning breakfast. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent, and they are truly dog friendly our flat coated retriever Nisha was given such a fuss and ended up having a sausage before our order was taken : I wish we lived closer but hope to return sometime maybe in the summer and enjoy lunch in the lovely little garden. This is a gem of a cafe and would recommend to anyone. Well worth a visit the one and only down side is finding somewhere to park."

"I had high expectations for this bakery/cafe, but I was somewhat disappointed. The staff were nice, but not overly friendly, possibly due to the busy atmosphere. I visited on my way from St. David's station to the town center and tried a coffee cake. The coffee (flat white) was excellent, but the cake (banana chocolate loaf) was very dry and hard to swallow. I was grateful to have water with me. I also ordered a frittata and a side of millet squash, which looked promising but were just average. The frittata was heavy on the potatoes and both dishes were quite dense and dry. I may have made poor choices, but I probably won't be in a rush to return. The restaurant is in a good location next to the central station."

"We visited the restaurant for the third time today, and ever since discovering it a couple of months ago, we have been finding reasons to visit Exeter from Plymouth more frequently! Today, we ordered a chicken burrito and a vegetarian option. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the food is fantastic. The prices are great as well, and we hope to return again soon. Thank you for a wonderful lunch."
