Had a nice meal at Maxwell 's tonight- zucchini 'burger ' (was on panini-style bread) was great and trio of sorbets delicious! Great to have a dedicated vegan menu.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was outstanding. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. The daily specials were exceptional. My wife and I both shared our meals (I ordered the fig and pancetta flatbread) and they were both delicious. I wished I could have stayed there all day just to eat another meal.

the other reviews say differently, but I couldn't find any vegan options. Maybe. I'm a hardliner, but no vegan option seems a bit ridiculous. I communicated that I could not have animal products, and they were happy to adapt the vegetarian breakfast, which was perfectly beautiful. it's just a scandal that there was nothing that didn't need substitutions. I'd like them to have picked up a vegan breakfast, but unfortunately there was no such thing.

maxwell’s has a beautiful sounding vegan menu offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options and I think they have vegan desserts, although they are not on the menu I saw. there are many outside seats, so we sat in the sun on Saturday morning, shortly after they were open. I ordered avocado and tomatensalat on full tone, with a full breakfast for naves, with two large decaf americanos and sat outside enjoy the sun. the eating was delicious, although Hubby realized that the baked beans were missing from his breakfast after he had eaten it and we were confused that they served dry toast when vegan margarine is readily available in any super market. we enjoyed the decaf americano coffee so much,...

I ordered avocado and tomato salsa on wholemeal toast, with a full breakfast for hubby, with two large decaf Americanos and sat outside enjoying the sunshine.
