"we visited to lunch on a bright early morning Saturday afternoon our friend had good work in him was really busy. the service was very friendly, young and efficient staff. we ordered a few sharers to start halloumi...chips with a tomato dip and the chipolatas, then everyone had a main course. we had x chicken mites and x chicken kjew (some of the jelly from this court goes to a Ukrainian charity that is an excellent idea). the whole food was nice, although the brokkoli was a bit cold, as if it were a past. we were too full of dessert, but we sat and chatting one because and nobody bothered us to pay the bill or go olney itself is a beautiful little place with some interesting, independent shops and worth a walk."

"I have been to the Horseshoe many times over the past 15 or so years, and it is always cosy and the staff hospitable. I last went in November to celebrate my husband's birthday with his family, and it was amazing. The pub had changed hands since I last visited, and it was just as cosy and wonderful. It was one of the first cold days in November when we visited, so the fire was a welcome sight. The food was delicious, and the staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive to us throughout our time there. Thank you, and we will definitely be visiting again soon! P.S. Try the French onion soup (if on the menu). It was delicious.. Dietary restrictions: I have a severe nut allergy, and the staff member who took our order checked and double-checked the food I had ordered to make sure that there were no nut traces, etc. I was very grateful, and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling anxious about having an allergic reaction because of said staff members' thoroughness. Thank you."

"it was New Year's Day with a fixed price menu with drinks over a two-hour period £30) my party was about 28 covers and the starters I had believe 6 different elements with two plates per table of 6. many for all that hard to begin! the main course, was pre-ordered and delivered with military precision, sufficient quality control and freshly cooked vegetables. my chicken and schinkenpis looked at the arrival, I hope I made the cook proud with a clean dish. during the meal, the employees were extremely diligent in the review on drinks and appearing as appropriate....no element of stintens on the alcohol! I enjoyed the experience and would recommend for future events. today was the fixed special menu, 2 courses for £14.50 with additional curs add £4.50 there was a choice of 4 on each cure and both my friend and I were more than satisfied with the service beside the quality and portion control. a beautiful meal and good value."

"I visited the Horseshoe for a impromptu lunch with my mum, unaware that it had changed hands in recent months. The website has not been updated, so surprised it is now an Italian restaurant. The menu is extensive. There are some tempting pizzas and pasta dishes. I had a lasagne it was delicious one if the best. It did take a wait, but the proprietor did make us aware and I prefer to wait rather than be offered some processed, microwaved meal. The Italian proprietor was very pleasant. He said he has a chef coming over from Italy in a couple of weeks. I felt the place has great potential. There are certainly things that can be worked on, but with time and support, it would be a great go to place to eat. Talk to the proprietor if you feel anything is wrong, which will help him make the 'tweaks ' needed. I wish him very success."

"I would give this restaurant half a star if I could. We had a reservation for 8 people, but the seating arrangement was cramped and uncomfortable. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and when we asked the staff for an update, they just kept apologizing. The service was slow and disorganized, with staff members seeming confused about our order. The atmosphere was unpleasant, with staff members being unprofessional and rude. Our meal was finally brought to us after over an hour of waiting, and it was the wrong order. We decided to leave and asked for the bill immediately. We were disappointed with the experience, especially considering the money we spent on drinks and potentially more food. This was the worst dining experience we have had at a Greene King restaurant, and we will not be returning. We plan to reach out to the manager and area manager to express our dissatisfaction."
