McCoys - Speisekarte

While enjoying lunch in the outdoor dining area, there was some commotion happening. It turned out to be the owner setting out poison to eliminate the local pigeons.

Always use this place always lovely. Visited today for breakfast with my family waited a while for food and when finally arrived it was cold really spoilt it. They offered to change it but we had already waited 40 minutes for it to arrive.

Lovely lunch Friendly welcome looked at menus and ordered however if you scan QR code and order you get 10% discount I had a hot pesto chicken salad with chips it was a generous portion and very tasty My husband had a hot steak sandwich on flat bread again a generous portion We both had an americano coffee which was delicious This restaurant is in a good location and would definitely recommend Speisekarte ansehen

The service was very polite, the order at table QR code was good and worked well. We were there at opening so food and drink arrived quite fast, all very nice! The only thing Id say, and I won’t even mark the stars down for something so small? The hollandaise on the eggs benny felt very ‘microwaved’ and solidified very rapidly. Saved by the fact that someone in that kitchen is the egg poaching champion, they were fantastic

I've been to McCoys a number of times over the years, and I was disappointed to see not only the quality but the amount of food had gone down considerably. I ordered a sandwich for lunch and the bread was dry and there appeared to be half of it missing. It was a shame. I'm guessing probably down to a change of ownership. Moreover, while £9.50 for a sandwich might not be too unreasonable in London, in Hull it does seem somewhat exorbitant.

I went to this restaurant today with my two sons for breakfast, and it was terrible. The food was overcooked and cold, not what we ordered. The bacon was extremely hard, the sourdough toast was so tough it could cut your mouth, and the sausages had hardly any meat in them. We paid £50 for three breakfasts, tea for two, and an iced latte, but it was a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would have preferred to go to McDonald's instead. Speisekarte ansehen

We decided to sit outside and have a couple of cold refreshing drinks when passing one day, The young gent who was serving outside was very friendly and helpful. We ordered on the website by scanning the QR code and the drinks were brought to our table. We had a couple of iced coffees which were super refreshing and not too badly priced. I also had a cherry and juniper fruit juice in lemonade which was amazing! We didn't eat on this occasion but we will be back to eat as some of the food looked amazing.

My partner and I randomly discovered this restaurant while searching for a place to grab a coffee and a quick bite to eat. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the outdoor seating area with the music and colorful flags. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We found the QR code ordering system to be convenient and comprehensive, offering a wide array of menu options. The coffee was superb and the food was delicious. The cleanliness of the restrooms was a bonus as well. I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit and enjoying a leisurely meal by the water while people-watching.

I visited this place at lunchtime with a friend who lives in Hull, so she recommended it. There was seating inside, as well as some outside on the street. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere, with piano music playing. We were told we could order by the app, which allows 10% off the bill. Or we could order at the bar. We decided it would be easier and quicker for us to order at the bar. But we were met by a very unwelcoming guy who told us that he didn’t have time to take our order, as he was far too busy. So our only option was the app! Not the best customer service, but anyway we ordered by the app which was fairly straight forward. The food was very nice and we had a lovely relaxing catch up....
