"As a previous student of the local University, I have had the pleasure of calling Mega Kebab my third home. However, in this, my second review, I feel the need to impart some home truths. First though, some positives. As I stumbled past the inviting...front façade at 1am one Saturday morning, I entered a short queue. One commendable feature remaining, after the Godfather, Ali's, migration to the exotic reaches of Polsloe, is the service time. I can report times of under 20 seconds, from the moment I slur medium cheesy chips please bossman to walking back out that front façade, smug about the yellow container of goodness I have in my clasp. Or so I think. As the title of this review suggests, a number of staple kebab shop contenders have gone downhill quickly. Chips cold. Cheese covering pitiful. Garlic mayo lathering more conservative than my Grandma's Texan ex-boyfriend. Mega donner meat of old was outstanding. Shards of spicy, chewy, undefinable meat, beefed-up (or horsed-up, who knows) any meal. Now, this staple has been reduced down to what can only be described as fatty bacon bits for rabits. As a health-discerning kebab shop customer, the 70%-30% fat-to-meat ratio was disappointing. Whilst the old Mega staff used to call both me and my mate Tony, despite neither of us holding such an identity, at least there was some sense of a personal touch. With the moving on of staff, has also come the moving on of the friendly, I'll watch your mate throw your chips against the wall and still welcome you back next time type vibe. With this too has gone the level of cuisine I came to live on during my higher education years. Perhaps timely, then, that with the search for a grad job comes the search for a new favourite kebab shop. p.s. anyone got any grad jobs flying around get in touch"

Chips were fine, chips and garlic Mayo were awful. Service was good but quality was bad. Plain chips would be fine but they don’t melt the cheese and the garlic mayo is poor quality

I previously left a negative review here, but that was in relation to Orca Kebab, which used to be connected to this location. Mega Kebab on Sidwell Street is the top kebab shop in this area of the city. They consistently serve delicious kebabs with fresh vegetables, generous portions, and beautiful spreads.

Mega Kebab is my go-to if I fancy a burger, or some cheesy chips. I find the portions generous, a good range of sauces on offer, and the staff are always polite in my experience. Let's not forget the prices are great as well. Though...there are a plethora of kebab shops in the area I see no need to visit any other than Mega Kebab. Speisekarte ansehen

I was a bit lost in Exeter while looking for my hotel and dinner was getting later and later. I stumbled upon "Mega Kebab" and decided to try their special kebab. It turned out to be a delicious meal with well-flavored marinated lamb fillet, juicy chicken breasts, and perfectly seasoned schish kebabs. This was definitely one of the best kebabs I've ever had, purely for its incredible taste!

The restaurant served four stone-cold kebabs and refused to listen to our concerns. The staff were extremely rude and hung up the phone on us. None of us in the family could eat the kebabs, even after trying to microwave them. I ate half of one and now feel sick. This was a terribly disappointing experience. We expect a response from the owner and a refund of the £36 we spent on the four cold kebabs.

We ordered off this takeaway and food never arrived lied and said they called us never did. Made two attempts to call considering our long wait we were fairly polite on the phone and they terminated it on two occasions without giving us a explanation...as to why they cancelled our order. Would never recommend them we had two hungry children waiting at home. Not customer friendly and doubt there food is any good too Speisekarte ansehen

The extra mushroom topping comes at an additional cost. The pizza was burnt and had a bad taste, with the ham losing its color and tasting dehydrated. The garlic bread was soggy and thick, costing 4.50 for 4 pieces. Overall, the meal was a disappointment and not worth the price. This was my second time trying the restaurant and sadly, both experiences were disappointing. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

I and my partner ordered 2 kebabs tonight, now normally there are really good and really delicious. tonight they had a damaging odor and didn't taste right. I tried to get some hours in contact with the truck, but because the restaurant was not ready. the order on the van app we couldn't do anything. we finally get in touch, they tell me that I was cleaning up the restaurant and booming after he had said that he only starts screaming that everything is fresh and only a little old greed left. I have two kebabs here untouched because I don't want to get sick. So what I say is if they want good customer service do not ring them only to blame and abuse them, I don't think it's the right way to r...
