"We stayed at the Mermaid Hotel for three weeks while visiting Ipswich from Western Australia for a family reunion after 29 years. We were impressed by the service we received; everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The carvery offered great value for money, and breakfast was included in the room rate. Our only complaint was that there was no slip mat in the bathroom, which we had to purchase ourselves. We definitely plan to return next year and would highly recommend this hotel."

I had an amazing experience at the carvery, and the desserts were delightful! The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

My partner and I enjoyed a medium-sized roast, and the meat was so tender it practically melted in our mouths. The entire meal was prepared just the way we love it. I would highly recommend it!

Stayed here last night. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, also hairdryer, TV and free wifi. No complaints whatsoever. Lovely breakfast included. Staff friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Had a great time at the mermaid. The staff was l very Friendly! Absolutely immaculate throughout! The pub next door was scrummy! With a excellent choice from the menu. I would recommend this hotel and pub/restaurant 100% and would return on my next visit to Ipswich.. Speisekarte ansehen

I can't recommend this place enough. Excellent value for money. Room was nice clean and tidy. Air conditioning on too. We were there for Elton John concert at Portman road, about 10 min walk. Breakfast was great too included in the price. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed in a family room x2 adults x2 children couldn't fault the room. Nicely decorated, spacious clean/tidy The room included TV, hair dryer, tea/coffee/biscuits also free Wifi Breakfast was also included in the price of the stay over at the mermaid pub. Would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

very pleasantly surprised that we had an overnight stay, our room was clean and comfortable the staff friendly and helpful. we had a birthday party in the pub we were a party of sixteen eight were children of service and quality of food was excellent, the young friendly co-workers made it a party to remember we are looking forward to our next visit. The Mermaid by Marston Inns definitely gets 5 from us The food is amazing, the staff are all welcoming and helpful, the vibes and atmosphere is relaxed. The added bonus is that they have a nice little hotel attached with very comfortable and clean rooms, perfect for when you want to have a mini getaway with family or friends! We're definitely coming back again

A lovely meal I had a carvery very fresh hot and tasty excellent value my husband and don had the burgers which were also delicious the young lady serving our table told me to go and get carvery just before the other meals arrived so we all ate together which was nice great service great food looking forward to returning thank you to all the staff highly recommend a visit
