I took my friends here for their first visit and they were blown away, the relaxed nature of the staff, coupled with great service and food that is off the chain. This really is one of the best seafood restaurants in the South West of England. Not only do they serve great food but the service is so good as is the atmosphere. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas when we went and every table was booked so it was lively. It is imperative that you book as it seems to be fully booked most nights which is not surprising.

Wonderful little seafood place. All dishes cooked perfectly, they really know their fish. We couldn't fault it. My husband had the biggest prawn cocktail. Some may say the decor is a little old fashioned, but I'm much more interested in the food, and we would return in a heartbeat. It's not easy to get a table, and that speaks volumes. we have been coming for years after st ives and some, as have never been here, what a mistake it is our new favorite ste ives restaurant after our visit last night. the seafood were delicious, the only bad thing was that we were spoiled for the choice and really fought to decide what to order. I had the cornish mokie I was worried could be a bit hard for a starter, it wasn't, the part was exactly right and the taste was absolutely delicious. I followed this with the topping of seafood, which was like a shard group of beautiful well cooked seafood. my man had the Scotch egg and mermaid plate and he said both were beautiful. service was warm, friendly and attentive. what a sound, we will come...
