"We were a party of seven attending our dinner at Mets Envies. Our first experience was that the space between the different tables was kind of narrow. There are no offers for menus, only à la carte is available at high prices. Service is poor, partly assured by a trainee, who did not even know how to open a bottle of wine properly... a bad start for the evening. We had tunafish as a main starter followed by faux-filet for many others. I had snails as a starter, they were only luke-warm when they came. For the main course, for some reason, two sauces were served, nobody really knows why. After leaving the restaurant, and meeting up with the party the next morning, we found out that most of them had severe stomach aches during the night, and had no or only a few hours sleep. Summary: we will not return to the place... there are other gems to find in the Champagne area."

Very good and very generous, my beef was perfectly cooked. Great. Beautiful frame, attentive and pleasant staff. Small dish the length of service 2h for a dessert dish.

A lovely restaurant in such a lovely small village off the beaten track. Excellent food wines, we thoroughly enjoyed our steak the chocolate dessert was divine. A wonderful way to end our holiday in France.

The menu of the restaurant is really worth it at noon in the week, especially for such quality. The service is well executed and the waitresses are kind. The flavors are at the rendezvous, it's real cooking. I just find some à la carte dishes too expensive but I recommend this place for lovers of good cuisine.
