"Great restaurant with delicious food. Went here with my wife and kids for my wife's birthday a year ago and then again last night. The staff were really friendly even walking my son to the bathroom when he couldn't find the way. The food was great. Everything I tried tasted like time and attention had been paid to it. I'm glad that standards remained high a year later. We had the the Siam sharer and the duck sharer to start which were great. For our mains we had prawn pad Thai, lemon chicken, prawn n broccoli and stirfryed beef. The standout to me was the prawn pad Thai but the crispy noodles with the lemon chicken deserve a shout out. In terms of the decor, the restaurant looked beautiful at first glance, following the Thai theme well with bamboo planters, sculptures and even a water feature in the centre. Looking out the windows across the fields you can see all the way to Penshaw monument. Overall i would go back as i definitely enjoyed my time there."

"Beautiful birthday meal for my grandchild and family, where the food and service was excellent. The restaurant was quite busy, but despite this the drinks, appetizers and main courses, where delivered with perfect timing and the quality and amount of each meal was on place. The menu was quite extensive with a lot of choice for all, with the mixed grill is a challenge for even the most hearty appetite, and meals also value for money. The staff was very attentive and amusing and even came with a surprising birthday dessert for the birthday boy and sang happy birthday all in an excellent night out."

"Me and my partner went last Thurs 5pm. The food was amazing. We shared the ribs that just melted in your mouth. I had lasagne with salad chips and red slaw, Rob had the flatbread with steak, onions,mushrooms, chips, onion rings and sauce. Utterly divine. We usually try somewhere different for our tea once a fortnight but we've decided to come back here. Fantastic staff also. Always close by if you needed anything. We'll done x"

"fabulous family dinner last night! 4 adult and a teenager. friendly, happy staff and great service. can recommend the black pudding and speck starter. not locally we have never been a parmo and they are fabulous, huge with by-shalat, homemade chips and koleslaw. my son had the brownie, the fab slept and also tasted. very recommend brilliant worth, we were so far away! natives seem to be happy to have jackie back in the kitchen and we agree!"
