Montien Thai - Speisekarte

We have just had lunch at The Welcome House. The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and relaxed. It was my first visit and undoubtedly I will visit again. Thank you for looking after us

Very accommodating service. Despite being busy, the staff were relaxed. Can recommend the soft shell crab. Huge portion, rich and flavoursome. The salad with green papaya was also excellent. Jungle veg curry was so hot.

Have eaten here dozens of times. We are both veggie and there are so many options to choose from. Service is always friendly and fast. Even if they are fully booked they try and accomodate us some how. Real authentic spicy Thai food, highly recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

Tried booking recently but the phone number was unobtainable. Went into Sevenoaks today and walked past.....under renovation and looking like a Polish Restaurant Bar. So sad this little gem has disappeared. Have had some super meals here and will be much missed

The Welcome House, previously known as the Montien is one of the best around. Situated opposite Marks and Spencer's (good for parking in the evening). Tida, the owner is very welcoming and always attentive. Staff are polite and of course, the food is superb. A must visit if you like Thai food.

I keep coming back to the Welcome House simply because it is one of the best restaurants in Sevenoaks. The menu is extensive and it includes a very comprehensive vegetarian selection. The staff are always welcoming and even when it is busy you don't have to wait for service.I'll be back again and again... Speisekarte ansehen

If you appreciate delicious food, you will quickly become a fan of this restaurant. Although I'm not a Thai food expert, I absolutely adore it here. The decor of the restaurant is also beautifully done, giving off a Thai ambiance. My heart goes out to the Thai boys currently trapped in caves in Thailand. Thank you for the wonderful cooking!

This is the only place I come for Thai. I come here order from here a lot. Of all the Thai restaurants this is the best one. Take today for instance, I was in London for an art exhibit and we felt like Thai and we actually came back to Sevenoaks to have their Thai although there is plenty around. The food is so tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are so lovely and the Thai is the best. Whenever I do eat at another Thai restaurant it never compares to here and I find myself comparing every Thai restaurant to this. Love Love Love this place.

I have visited this restaurant many times, as well as its now-closed sister restaurant The Montien in Westerham. The food here is always excellent, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with menu choices. The Lamb Mussaman Curry is absolutely delicious, and the Tiger Cry is a unique steak dish. There is a convenient car park right across from the restaurant, and I have never had a bad meal here in over 10 years of dining. The menu is extensive and I am slowly trying everything on it.
