Mumbai Brasserie - Speisekarte

In all honesty, this was the worst curry I have ever tasted. It was truly terrible. The lack of flavor was evident in every bite, the potatoes were unpleasant, the naan was terrible, and the sauce was bland.

This was the worst takeaway curry I've ever had. It was extremely salty, greasy, and bland. The potatoes in the sagaloo were old and mushy. I couldn't even finish a few bites before throwing it in the trash where it belonged. Such a waste of money!

Had a takeaway delivered. Came within an hour which was advised and it turned up hot. But that’s where the positives stopped sadly. Chicken bhuna was tough as old boots, Bombay aloo potato’s tasted a day old as did the poppadoms, chewy! The chicken tikka still had a thick paste on it that hadn’t been cooked off the the naan breads were thin and tough. First and last time using this place. Previous review says it all. This was exactly how my husband and myself felt. There is no social distancing being adhered to at all. We actually stopped a family coming to sit on the next table when the waitress was showing them to the table, my husband spoke up and said that it was too close. Can't understand they have an upstairs restaurant as well but just still kept packing people into the ground floor. If you are still freaking about social distancing then this is not the place to go to.

Our visit started off well, our drinks orders were taken within a few minutes of arriving, which was nice. Unfortunately that 's where the good service stopped, after finishing our drinks and poppadoms, we waited over an hour and a half, and our table still hadn 't been cleared of the poppadom trays and dips, nor had we even been given a menu. During this time we had been ignore several times by the waitress. After waiting so long we decided to leave, so we paid for the drinks and poppadoms only to not be given the eat out to help out discount either.TLDR: terrible service, ignored several times, charged double the price we expected.

This was one of my fav restaurants but service really let it down tonight, no social distances between tables at all, we waiting over 30mins for our order to be taken and another hr for our starters to arrive at the table, no apology for delay or wait from any member of staff, we then waited another 40 mins for our mains to arrive and the funny thing is clearly they weren't coping well with how busy it was yet told the table next to us (less than a metre away) 30mins wait on food the food saved this place as usual very tasty and hot but the wait and lack of covid restrictions really let it down, staff not wearing maks when setting and clearing tables leaning over customers! Booked a table to help out a local business but what a shambles?! If ever there 's a time to impress customers and save a restaurant business now is it. I am very tolerant and understanding but when I book a table for 7pm I don 't expect to be waiting for my main at 9.30! No apology or explanation. My observation was one of greed. Cramming too many people into restaurant, not enough time to for staff to observe social distancing or for thorough cleans between customers. I felt on edge throughout and left before main arrived. I saw waiting staff leaning across tables to lay cutlery without masks on. I am not sure how this place has been classed covid safe. Such a shame. Maybe time for owners...

I was surprised when this place said they could fit us in, as everywhere else was fully booked. As soon as we walked in the door, we realised why. Every single table in use, so very tightly packed. Staff wearing masks but almost all of them below the nose. If you are worried about social distancing, probably best to avoid as the situation would make you anxious. Other than that, service was very slow, the whole experience, two courses (no time for desert) took about four hours. This was our second time dining at Mumbai Brasserie, and once again, we were very disappointed. The first time we ordered takeout, it took 2 hours and 45 minutes to arrive, despite living only 5 minutes away. To our dismay, we had to reheat everything in the oven before we could eat it because it was all cold. We attributed this to a busy night and decided to give them another chance by dining in. This time, we arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation, but were told our table would be ready in 10 minutes.
