"this place was packed, which was a good sign. the staff was very friendly and helpful. our table was unfortunately under a bright light and someone could not be on the head as she wanted the house to be lighter as they were up and down the whole time, which was annoying. the mozzarella sticks starter with minze and pfeffer were huge with a beautiful crab. the tomate and basil bruschetta is probably one of the worst I had. I love nods, as I have been eating there regularly and have done this for five years. the service is fantastic and the food is to die! if they are looking for a uprising to the earth experience, then this is the place to be!

bathroom chef, bathing. my wife and I booked a table last night on 7 o'clock, we arrived immediately and were shown on our table, we ordered a bottle of wein and went straight on two main courses, bolognese and pappardelle with king prawns, the meals were properly arrived and I tried a prawn and had to take the prawn out of my mouth and wrap it into my serviette

First time but definitely not the last. My wife and I ate in Nicks this evening and we can't get over how much we enjoyed it. We were using a spree voucher which entitles you to one complimentary main course, the food was excellent and such big portions, usually restaurants give less when you are on a special deal but not here. Service was superb, Rebecca and Lauren couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It's rare in the West of Scotland to find people who are actually good with customer service and seem to enjoy there jobs so these two and the entire staff are an exception to that. We will definitely be back. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, lovely food.
