Nupur Tandoori - Speisekarte

Always my go to for a curry. Not the cheapest, but the quality is always excellent. The staff are excellent sometimes a bit of a wait, but that’s not a problem. Lucky to have such a great place in the village.

The food was tasty and enjoyable. However it is expensive and the portions are small. The restaurant and the take away are in the same room so if you are by the door you will get people coming in to order food while you eat.

A disappointing take-out meal. Burnt peshwari naan bread and watery curry sauces. There are better curry houses than here. Thought it was overpriced and poor quality. The onion Bhaji was actually very good. Won't be returning.

Take away all that is possible just now, but when you've not had one for a while, definitely worth paying a bit more for compared to other local options. Portion sizes are just adequate, but even if they weren't, the quality of the meat, the flavour of the dish, the variety of the menu makes the Nupur a good choice.

We went to Nupur last Friday evening, The staff were very welcoming as usual. Service was excellent and our food was good. The one downside was the takeaway part of the restaurant, people came to collect or order their takeaway and sat down and were served drinks. Then more people joined them, and it became very loud and just unpleasant for those of us paying to dine in. This experience would make me want to avoid this restaurant in future

I have used this restaurant for takeaway meals for the last 10 years and usually felt very satisfied with the food. The last two occasions have been such a disappointment. Tonight We had Chicken Biriani, a Rougan Chicken and Sagaloo with popadoms and naan bread. So the food was cold we only live down 3 miles away. The chicken was dry and there was a total lack of taste or spice in any of the dishes. A total disappointment and poor value for money. Such a shame.

The welcome received by my wife and I at this restaurant was very warm and I noticed the maître was very attentive at the way other customers were greeted. In my opinion the welcome is very much part of the eating experience . I ordered my old favourite, chicken tikka masala and my wife had lamb rogan josh, accompanied by pilau rice and a Peshwari nan, all washed down with a large bottle of Cobra. The meat dishes were very good but did lack a little substance and probably contained not quite enough meat. Everything else was excellent and I would have no hesitation in using this restaurant again.

I have visited this restaurant about 4 times over the last 10 years , although the restaurant is 10/10 for cleanliness and the staff are very polite, the food is very bland and tasteless, it’s almost like the curries have no flavours as they all taste like they are the same base curry but with different colour food dye in them. I am very much into my curries and feel disappointed every time I go back here. I have politely mentioned it to the staff in the past only to be told they make 300 Tikka Masala a week with no complains (albeit their Tikka Masala is only a shade darker than their yellow korma) and proceeded to tell me how awful the Tikka Masala is in the curry house in the neighbouring...

I was taken here last Saturday 15th August as a thank -you from people who are moving to Hurstpierpoint so we thought we would try the restaurant. It was not at all busy for a Saturday night which I thought was odd. The restaurant was nice and welcoming and staff were good, but I Was disappointed with the food. The chicken is very dry and the amount of curry sauce is minimal. I had chicken dopiaza and I would have liked much more onions, and the portion was also small in a small bowl The rice was nice. The sag paneer was very dry. My wife thought the same of her curry which was tikka masala. This restaurant is probably the only one in Hurstpierpoint and probably can rest on its laurels like...
