Great food and service. Lovely outside area with heaters. Friendly staff with DJ’s on the weekends. Highly recommend

Excellent place for a pint with Mates and really good food. What impressed me the most was the really good service and kindness of the bartender Nina.

My daughter took me to the Oakford for dinner, we had an amazing time the staff were so lovely they tended to our every need and the burgers were 10/10.

The burgers are delicious, the drinks are great, the staff is friendly, and the chefs are talented. Leigh made me an amazing burger. I will definitely return the next time I am in Reading. Speisekarte ansehen

Venue was nice and tidy. Pint was perfect but the team are the standout. Everyone is genuinely welcoming and attentive which makes for a nicer atmosphere than the alternatives in the town. Talaia, I hope I’ve spelled that correctly, looked after me today and her efficient and friendly service is a credit to the business. All front of house staff made an effort to welcome with a smile in fact. I hope this feedback gets to them, I really appreciated it

I had an amazing experience at the restaurant. The staff were all okay, but the standout was Chef Leigh. Chef Leigh is truly fantastic - you won't find better in the UK. I ordered the Big Cow, and Chef Leigh expertly prepared every element, from the bun to the sauce, lettuce, burger, onions, and brisket. She skillfully combined everything to create a work of art. Chef Leigh truly deserves recognition for her talent. I hope the restaurant gives her the raise she deserves. Slay, Chef Leigh!

The bar staff at this restaurant have adopted a questionable practice of swirling the beer around to create an artificial head. This results in a loss of liquid and diminishes the overall quality of the beer. It appears that many establishments are doing this to save money, which is disappointing. I will not be returning to this pub for at least six months in the hopes that they have stopped this practice. It is worth noting that there is a 5% tolerance for a natural head in a pint, but customers should still receive a full pint of liquid upon request. Unfortunately, it is uncommon to find accurately lined pint glasses in pubs nowadays, with most glasses being filled to the brim. Speisekarte ansehen
