Opera Grill - Speisekarte

The venue was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We both ordered the rib eye steak, and it was cooked perfectly to our liking.

Visited last night and loved it. Just couldn’t fault it. The atmosphere, seating and bar area. Superb food and staff so helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you like steaks, the choice was amazing and the quality too.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening on Thursday 21st Dec, with great food and drink and exceptional service with Louisa looking after our table. The atmosphere was equally good with a great vibe. Overall we couldn’t fault and would recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

Fabulous food and atmosphere. Special mention to Ted our waiter, super friendly and professional and provided great recommendations for our food, we loved everything he recommended! We came to celebrate a birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Really lovely venue, but sadly ended there. Service was very slow but the waitress was lovely to give her credit. Food was awful, steak burnt, duck overdone and dry, Starters were ‘ok’ but quite bland, especially the souflee. Deserts fine, but nothing special. Very much the place to be seen and see.. wouldn’t recommend for food or return which is a shame as it could be excellent.

Walk in and got a table no problem. Spacious restaurant. Lovely decor. Toilet are up stairs. A fair few. They may have down stair for disabled. Roof terrace also. Menu looked great. Our food was lovely. However the prices on the menu is not what you pay. Our bill came and stated plus vat. So the price in menu. Eg 19.00 Then vat added. Shocking service…family birthday meal, literally had to chase them for everything, even walking into the kitchen to find staff to get drinks/condiments/food/dessert menus/clear table etc etc etc Nice environment, but more of a bar than a comfortable restaurant (downstairs) food was OK, very expensive to be so disappointed. Much better places to enjoy in Chester for a meal. Toilets were disgusting too…place seems to be run by inexperienced ‘younger’ staff who know nothing about service.

Horrendous experience for my daughter’s birthday. Food awful and service 3/11 guests had no food following food being sent back. Others food was cold. We were charged for food we didn’t have! Manager informed during the evening of our dissatisfaction and huge disappointmemt. Manager promised an email with offer of a meal the following day no response. I telephoned and left a voicemail no response. The whole experience ruined the special birthday. I have waited a month before writing a review in the hope the restaurant would respond.

To improve, the food should be served hot and at the same time, instead of possibly sitting out for a while. The correct dishes should be brought out to avoid confusion with other orders. The music was too loud for early evening, especially with young families present. The bar area had great drink options and cocktails. However, the restaurant service was poor with many mistakes and not good value for money. The food was mediocre compared to the prices, with better options available for half the cost. The staff and management had a poor attitude when mistakes were made, making us feel like we had ordered incorrectly. Management did not handle the situation well, leading to a disappointing ev...
