Good food and service, friendly and attentive staff. Compared to similar experiences a little on the costly side.

We turned up early and the staff were happy to accommodate us at that time. The food was lovely , the staff were attentive and my mum and I had a great experience. She really enjoyed her birthday present. Speisekarte ansehen

The food and service was excellent. When the afternoon tea arrived we were delighted with the array of choices. I would only say they do need to invest in some small cake boxes as I was unable to finish mine and wanted to take some home. They were very good though and wrapped them in some cellophane bags in a small paper carrier.

The food was lovely and the staff friendly. The service was however chaotic and I had to ask for the complimentary prosecco for my mum which the staff where puzzled about even though it was advertised in my booking and confirmation. We had to ask a few times for refills of tea. The environment was nice but I wasn't a fan of the music.

Was disappointed there was not a gentleman's afternoon tea. The sandwich fillings were not good. The cakes were too big and gaudy colours. The room is not as nice as the previous one. Was really disappointed as was looking forward to coming as was fantastic last time. Sorry for the negative response but really didn't think it was good value. Speisekarte ansehen

Visited with friends my recommendation after 3 previous visits but it was so disappointing. The new location within the hotel isn’t as nice, the food wasn’t very fresh seemed it had been made in advance and left to stand, the service was poor staff were unaware of what could couldn’t be had, what tea was available, whether you could have both champagne AND tea. Just I’ll informed. It was expensive compared with other options in manchester but the quality didn’t warrant the extra cost. A real shame

We decided to treat our mother for Mother's Day at this restaurant. It was very busy, which we expected, but the service was inconsistent. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for a refill of tea that we had requested and had to ask twice. One waiter was friendly, while another was indifferent. Considering the number of bookings they had, the staff could have been better prepared. However, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was not as enjoyable or relaxing as we had hoped due to the service and the loud DJ music. I asked for the music to be turned down, but my request was ignored.

We booked here for an Afternoon Tea to celebrate our Anniversary It is a shame that there wasn 't any choice of afternoon teas today apart from the Easter Afternoon Tea as we had been there before and had the Gentlemans Tea menu On the plus side, the staff were friendly and welcoming here. The warm scones were good but could have been slightly larger like normal scones). The sandwiches however were very poor as the bread was dry and some of the fillings were quite sparse between the slices of bread the classic cucumber with beetroot cream cheese on tomato bread for example) had hardly any beetroot and cream cheese on it.
