Oshibori Authentic Japanese

eating was amazing and the staff was very attentive. I loved the facility. I understand that they renovate below, but good work for adapting to these difficult times. my partner and I had a brilliant experience

Went there for the lunch bento box deal. Tried the Shomi Sushi bento which had a variety of sushi selection and got the cheese cake as the 3rd course which was amazing! Reasonably priced for the meal and the cheese cake is a must try!

Two course bento box lunch for only £15 per person... An absolutely fabulous mixture of flavours and textures. Excellent service in very grandiose surroundings. Restaurant could have been a bit warmer but I'll definitely be coming back here.

what do I say? the whole experience of eating here was amazing. beautiful decoration and eating is incredible. there is a great selection of food. I'm just sorry I couldn't taste everything. Of course, that means I have to go back and forth. if they are in dundee, then this restaurant is not to be missed

all in all: great experience. great vegan selection for a reasonable price £25 per head including drinks which are the most overpriced item on the menu, with roughly £9 for cocktails). the ambient is quite kitsch, but the waiters make up for all the gold paint, they're very nice! the garden is well kept and the fairy lights add a nice touch. I'd definitely go back and hopefully will asap).

such a weird place, decor is stunning, so much so that we thought we were in the wrong place since it was so beautiful inside. but wait times for food are really long. there were five of us at our table and it took somewhere between an hour and a half and two hours to get our food, which was fairly tasty. also we were trying to reserve our table here all day and kept calling the landline they had listed on their website at least seven or eight times, but there was no answer every time. definitely would recommend, but be prepared to wait a very long time for food.

This was one of the most disappointing meals of our lives, front start to finish. Firstly when we arrived the gate next to sign was locked. We then discovered we had to enter through an old Chinese restaurant! The decor was extremely strange, almost like being in an antique shop. The chairs were dirty and the tables were not cleared around us for an hour. The one waitress working seemed confused at all times and very slow. The food itself was appalling for the price. There was no flavour to anything we ordered. We have had better sushi from supermarkets!!! We weren’t given plates and we’re not offered soy sauce etc with our food. Please avoid at all costs!!

I was excited to visit Oshibori. I haven't had sushi for so long and I couldn't wait to try it. When you are coming in to the restaurant the air smells of wood, the decor is nice, more modern than traditional, but lack of music was disturbing. Nice waitress welcomed us etc. So far so good until. I love Japanese tea, so first what I have ordered was green jasmine tea and it came in teabags with only 1/3 of teapot of water in the pot. Big disappointment. Then we were waiting 50min for our food. Hubby had vegan ramen and I had sushi with miso soup. Miso soup was very weak, no tofu in it, and just warm. The miso soup arrived 30min after our placing order, and only I had it, hubby still awaiting....

when we arrived at 18:45, it was calm and we sat immediately. the server was friendly and attentive. the music was calm, as others have mentioned, but personally we appreciate that we hear each other. the restaurant began to fill later and we were so impressed by the server as it was clearly busy and she seemed to manage everything alone, but she has constantly checked on us and always completely quiet and in control. the tables are very spaced apart, which is not only more codified safe, but we also feel as if we had something private sphere and were not collapsed. After we read other reviews, we were ready for a waiting period and made sure that we did not starve so that we had no problems...
