Oshies Kitchen And Grill

The food and service at this restaurant were incredibly poor. There was a lack of staff, and the chef arrived late, seeming to have been smoking cannabis. Additionally, there were arguments in the kitchen. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at this restaurant. I am from Nottingham, England and this place truly impressed me. I can't emphasize enough how satisfying the meal was. I visited with friends and we were all extremely pleased with the food. Thank you for providing such a fantastic dining experience.

We came to Oshies for some cocktails, and possibly food, on recommendation. It was Saturday 30th July. We arrived and placed our order. 20 minutes later, we had to ask where our drinks were. Came here for my birthday meal with my family and had a wonderful time, the tunes were good, the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 curry goats, 2 mac cheese (kids) and a sausage and mash (kids) We all ate the food and wanted more. They were relatively busy but managed to stay happy and helpful. The card machine was rather slow which caused a little havoc, but this is by no fault of the staff. Thanks for a lovely birthday meal x

What can I say about this restaurant can be said in one word. Excellent Attached to the DeValence Hall you are guaranteed a friendly welcome and best of all the food is of great quality and fairly priced and competitive. I would highly recommend the Goat Curry with rice, which came piping hot and presented well. The staff are friendly and very polite. If you have taste for Caribbean food you will be pleasantly surprised. There is easy access for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues

Visited Saturday 14/8 Had no Gin, and had wait outside for the drinks to arrive. They never did until we asked again. Also they took the payment twice, which I only realised when I checked my bank App whilst I was there. They didn’t know how to refund so in the end I asked for cash. I’m not an expert on Caribbean food, so all I can say is, it was OK. Wouldn’t eat there again. This was in the middle of Tenby’s peak season and is one of the best places to visit during a heatwave. The food at this restaurant was delicious. We ordered the jerk chicken, and as someone who has been to Jamaica before, I can say that it was very close in taste to the authentic spicy flavor. I had a chance to speak with the chef, who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He is from Kingston, so he definitely knows a thing or two about cooking. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add more rum options to the menu, as the Caribbean is famous for its rum and I only saw two options available at the time. I will definitely return to this restaurant if I am in the area again.

After reading the reviews didn't paint a rosy picture, having been in the hospitality industry my self, it's very hard to get trust worthy reliable staff, or staff as a whole especially in the current climate, any way gave oshies a whirl, very few alcoholic drinks on offer for a female,apart from cocktails which I put down to being Jamaican based, lagars were just Red stripe and Heineken, this aside, received good, quick service from the young waiters, ordered a goat curry, which was very tender, ample portion size at a great price, where I live this would of easily cost £16 to £22, give Oshies a try, no woman no cry!

Hi, I visited the restaurant over the weekend and it was very quiet. I was informed that the boss and his wife were in Jamaica, but we still decided to order food. Unfortunately, the food can only be described as awful. Some of it was still frozen and the chips were extremely greasy and full of fat. When I asked to speak to the chef, a girl who had given me attitude on a previous visit came out. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food, her response was a sarcastic smile and she told me not to pay for it. I was shocked by her behavior.
