"Splendid experience of food and wine in this Slow Food haven. The attention to the details of preparation, friendly and sincere service, and relaxed setting made for a memorable visit. Highly recommended for honest, traditional rustic foods of the area. To start with, the bread was wonderful, lovingly made in house with curated yeast. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the parmigiana sedano nero di Trevi, which exploded with flavor. The gnocchi were pillowy and light in the deceptively simple and delectable ragu of duck. The risotto was top notch, with obvious care to the texture of each ingredient, especially the butternut squash. Moving on, the grilled eel had a wonderfully crisp texture, and the rabbit was divine with it's sweetbreads and porchetta accompaniment. The broccoli flan was all at once inventive and familiar comfort food. All this accompanied by an excellent natural wine, selected for us in consultation with the resident expert. In closing, we very much enjoyed the semifreddo of hazelnuts, which left smiles on our faces. Bravo!"

"This is one of those gems you really thank Tripadvisor for. We were on our way from Ancona to Orvieto and decided to stop for lunch along the way. This was one off the options and boy was it worth the extra few kilometres! Some of the best food we had during this trip and incredibly cheap (3 people €50). This will absolutely be a mandatory stopover next time."

"we found ourselves in this local bridge san giovanni (PG)And to confirm the hospitality received in the previous days in this beautiful region, we tasted Umbrian peculiarities in slow mode. Taste and recognize the gouves with great passion and love by those who told us about them with a lot of details. We tasted meats and cheeses typical of the area, but not only. We have known the history and origin of the same. For us this is very worth; is true because told by those who believe, despite everything, to their own land. Thank you very much!"

"the joyous is for years a guarantee for St. John's Bridge! I didn't find anywhere else such a good pizza but at the same time it didn't give me a feeling of heaviness. But the joyous is not only pizza, indeed...probably the strong piece resides in the fish, starting from the first to the grilled squids (my favorites without forgetting the fry! Every time I was there I found fresh food, friendliness and account adapted to the quality that francesco, monica and all staff daily serve customers. The place is beautiful and versatile for both winter and summer, with a large veranda that also lends itself to receptions such as communions, cresime, etc.So, overall...it is a place worth trying, you will not be disappointed!"

"Two stars of encouragement! Daje!Saturday evening, very crowded, ansiogen service at certain times ask you if everything goes well every 30 seconds and then disappear for 15 minutes, to take the ordinations leave you at the table 45 minutes without even water and bread. Rather poor appetizers, the cold and warm mixture arrives in installments every 5 minutes bring a sonic striminzita that is definitely warm but poor and sad. The cold part is better, text cake and ham hardly mistakes, the cheese to wine instead is insipido, change it! The lady who served us recommended a delicious wine open the bottle and tasted the delicious nectar we all folded on a great guinness (the only reason I didn't give 1 star). Mixed roast: in a braceria I expected much better. Sausage split and cooked 3 hours before and heated (orror for a umber!) Little crushed pork puntarella, pink near the little cooked pork ossus, good meat, horrid cooking. Good lamb, well seasoned even if slightly too cooked. Then there were type 10 gr of veal, good and cooked well but really little little. I hope you can improve the service but especially the grilled meat! Change wine supplier but hold the guinness!"
