12 of us came 6 children in the age of 5 to 14 years and 6 adults to lunch. everyone enjoyed the quality of eating and the contemplation of the owner / manager. there are good choices to share, typical Italian, fish,.pasta and meat dishes. opposite is a small park with some children's activities and magnificent view over the valley.

Bel locale vicino al centro storico, antipasto di bruschettona con capocollo e stracciatella molto buono a parte il pane che secondo me era meglio usare invece di quello industriale, quello che ci hanno portato nel cestino, era bello caldo e genuino. Pure di fave e cicorie buonissimo e ben condito, secondo misto di carne buono. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

I love the pasta dishes at this simple family restaurant in Cisternino, one of the prettiest hill towns in the Valle d'Itria of Puglia. This is the place to go, especially in winter when it is cosy inside, if you enjoy frill-free cooking. I live...nearby, have visited several times and, apart from a chicken croccante which I did not like (chicken breast apparently dipped in cornflakes and fried) I like the food a lot. But the ravioli, stuffed with ricotta and spinach, smothered with pistachio sauce, is to die for! And my son thoroughly enjoyed the Brazilian steak, for which people travel long distances to savour.
