This place serves really good pizzas from a wood fired oven. On top of that the owners are really friendly make sure they show you their garden, up against the old city monastery walls especially at night

Una sorpresa a due passi dal teatro Massimo. Buona pizza e buoni i piatti. Accoglienza ottima e professionale il posto un bellissima sorpresa. Da non perdere. Consigliatissimo. French and english speaking owner. Top.

This restaurant was right next to our B and B and was a good find.Salvo was an excellent waiter who spoke wonderful English. He was extremely helpful with his recommnendations. We enjoyed our food here and would recommend it. Speisekarte ansehen

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst on holiday in Palermo and would return again. Staff were lovely and explained the menu in English without even asking (as my Italian is limited). The appetiser of Parma ham with mozzarella was so fresh and the beef shin was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere inside also.

Food wasn’t bad, but Giorgio (the owner) does not allow other people to take orders (so too slow), burata was acid, olive oil and balsamic was taken out of the table without asking, plate was taken out before we finish eating, pasta was ok.... At the end the classic meaningless question: “was everything ok?”

Il locale è nuovo, non bisogna lasciarsi ingannare dal piccolo ingresso, perché all'interno è molto ampio, con veranda chiusa ben riscaldata e giardino d'inverno. Un ottimo mix di rustico e moderno. Personale competente, cucina ottima con ingredienti di prima qualità e pesce fresco. Veramente buono il tortino al cioccolato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo! Complimenti, torneremo sicuramente. Quando ci si imbatte in eccellenze il minimo che si può fare è una recensione positiva... Positiva quanto l'esperienza a tutti i livelli... Dall'accoglienza del proprietario e sommelier Giorgio che ci ha deliziato con i suoi racconti, alla pizza con antichi grano siciliani moliti con cura, dal pesce spada freschissimo (la sua filosofia è quella di fare la Spesa ogni giorno comprando poche quantità di pesce freschissimo) al Filetto tenero e ben cotto, con un servizio attento in una location suggestiva in via Volturno. I prezzi? Adeguati alla qualità, e con il 50% di the fork eccellenti. Ci torneremo, e non una volta sola..... Complimenti!

My wife and I returned to Giorgio’s Secret Garden a year on from our first visit after an opera at the nearby Teatro Massimo. We had phoned to reserve a table but hadn’t expected the performance to finish so late – it was almost midnight when we reached the restaurant and were embarrassed to turn up at that hour. Nevertheless, Giorgio and Victoria were most welcoming and assured us we could have anything on the menu. We both had a typical local starter of fresh broad beans with octopus followed by an exquisite mix of fresh fish. That should have been quite enough but we could hardly refuse the “Gianduiotto” sweet prepared by Vittoria. There was even time for a grappa nightcap -a perfect end...

Bellissimo posto sopratutto il giardino interno, l'arredamento trasmette calore. Ho aspettato la seconda occasione per recensirlo, ho assaggiato lo stinco, il filetto ai funghi e le linguine vongole e pistacchi... Tutti piatti ottimi anche il tortino al gianduiotto ed il parfé favolosi... Come il dolce omaggiatoci da Giorgio il titolare, una sfoglia di ananas che avvolge un cuore di gelato alla vaniglia con limoncello flambé. Ma la cosa che più abbiamo gradito è per la quale torneremo da Giorgio é il fantastico servizio, ci ha accolto come fossimo ospiti a casa sua raccontandoci aneddoti della sua lunga esperienza nella ristorazione.
