Lush is a truly lovely restaurant serving fresh white fish with a light, crispy batter. The chips are also very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning soon.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are of excellent quality, although quite expensive. We spent £83 for a special occasion dinner for 6 people. The location was nice and the service was good.

Being a big fish chips lover this resturant did not let us down. Beautiful food, clean and excellent staff. I also liked that they listed where the fish came from where the potatoes were picked. Speisekarte ansehen

not very busy, eating was delivered quickly. a bit smaller part for a chippy, but nobody went to waste, so maybe not. really delicious and freshly cooked. I just waited for about 5-10 minutes to eat what was good.

had our tee there last night. it was the opening day and I have to say it is probably the best chippy I was eating was fab and the staff was very friendly. recommend a visit if they are looking for a chip tea! ohh and the prices were very reasonable and in the position to sit and eat without the möwen swung over our heads was a bonus!

the best chippy in the city! freshly cooked eating, huge portions, friendly staff and the most amazing curry sauce of all time! also good value for money, especially on the take-away option. sit in a bit unpleasant, with very little space between the chairs and tables, but they can still find a pretty comfortable corner, and eating it anyway. highly recommended! Expensive and inflexible to say the least! We visited this restaurant with our young children we asked if they could do just the chicken nuggets without the chips as they wouldn't eat them and it would be a waste of money and food.. their response was No! everything comes with chips Although the food was okay (nothing to go shouting home about we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as their approach to customer service stinks and they are massively over priced.

A walk on a dark, blowy evening on the sea front Paignton, the kids said can we have chips on the Pier. So to the Pier chippy we went. Option to sit in or seating outside, we decided outside. We ordered the food, fish chips and mushy peas for me, mixture of fish’s beans scampi for the family. Not that expensive and told ‘be about minutes as it’s all cooked fresh’. Time flew by and collect food. As my yr old summed it up, I was expecting these to be the usual rubbish cheap stuff you normally get on piers but this is the best scampi and chips I’ve had. ! Fish was fabulous and plentiful.Would definitely recommend

If you’re going to the seaside, you’ve got to have fish chips. There may even still be a law requiring it. But, even If not, it’s a smart idea for lunch. And this is as smart a place (or is that plaice) as it gets round here. Not least as all the fish is from sustainable sources, certified by the Marine Stewardship Council. They have a few booths inside but there are impossible for folk of, ahem, certain proportions. We were about to give up when one of the even fewer tables outside became free.
