Patisserie Joie De Vie

Food is decent, but terrible service. Took 4 attempts to get my food right.

As usual, great food, great experience! Patisserie Joi De Vie is a gem of a place in Barnet.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. They prepared a nice fruit pot for my baby that wasn't on the menu. The highchair straps were not very secure though.

The crepes especially savoury ones are a family favourite and absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh and the patisserie, there's something for everyone's taste.

This place is infuriating, we have tried a few times and whilst the food is generally pretty good (the cakes and pastries are some of the best around) the service is terrible, despite what appears to have been at least one change in custodian over the last few years. Baffling.

Haven't used this establishment for a long time but was convenient for my needs. Quality very good, but incredibly expensive as I had been told, hence why have not used. £16.80 for four small fruit tarts is ridiculous and why is nothing priced?? There are alternatives in Barnet!

Bought a latte with oat milk to go, it took the guy ages to make it and when I got to taste it, in my car and on my journey to my next destination the latte was like dish water! and he hadn't used oat milk as requested. I had to chuck it away after that initial taste, it was undrinkable. the latte was expensive and a total waste of money.

The Barista was an idiot, he could not get the order right, he tried to make the Oat Mocha with Dairy Milk and then fob it off as Oat, but when pressed he claimed he misheard, even after saying otherwise. The female server seemed to be the boss and she was chatty and nice, maybe they just need to hire a better barista! The coffee’s were ok at best.

On my last visit I was quite disappointed with my experience. I had a panini sandwich and the bread was burnt. This is the second time this had happened so i never order food anymore only pastries. Also the male staff are so loud talking to each other from the kitchen. They were slow to notice that customers were waiting. It seems like they are treating the place like their hangout chatting loudly instead of working!
