Peking Chinese - Speisekarte

Phoned to double check something about my order and the man that answered was extremely rude and kept shouting down the phone at me.

Can’t express how fabulous the food was, so fresh, flavoursome and perfectly presented Our waitress was busy but paid us full attention. The ribs dry) were just delicious , could have eaten them again !!

Best Chinese food we have ever eaten. Extremely flavorsome, good quantity and excellent service. Chinese is my favorite cuisine, and this was the best. Not cheap, by any means, but well worth it as a treat on holiday. Speisekarte ansehen

They sat 7 of us even though they were closing their kitchen in the next 10mins and politely asked us to order fast which we did. The food was fantastic and the service was fast. We couldn't have picked a nicer place to eat

Menu looked promising, but sadly food was to blend, not much taste. Portions small and you had to order the rice separately! We won't go back there again. Menu looked good, but unfortunately the food was quite bland. Very small portions and you had to order rice or nasi/bami separately. We don't go there anymore.

We visited recently as part of a birthday weekend celebration. The food was excellent, as was the service. The choice of dishes was wonderful. I had the Dim Sum starters which were delicious. Followed by sizzling king prawns with spring onion ginger. A real delight! The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Speisekarte ansehen

I feel terrible leaving this review because the staff were lovely and the menu and food looked so promising. Unfortunately all the food we ate was so bland and had hardly any flavour. We eat out for Chinese food a lot and had such high hopes for this restaurant but it looks like they have given up on the food and the quality. I hope they can turn this place around because the menu looks absolutely amazing.

Never go there if you have kids I entered and asked for baby chair for my daughter but the man in reception said we don’t have any which is ok for me and I told him to use normal chair and asked him for place to leave my daughter push chair and he replied we got no places to leave it while the restaurant was almost empty. He was very rude in his answers so we decided to leave. Not recommended at all due to way staff deal with customers and level of service

Another truly excellent meal here at Peking . Great welcome , good atmosphere and surely the best Chinese in Bath by a long mark . We all had one of the set Menus massive plate of mixed Hors d’oeuvre spring rolls, sesame toast, seaweed , spare ribs etc , followed by superb Peking Duck with pancakes , spring onions, cucumber and sauce . Big choice of main courses all included together with special fried rice all first class. . Excellent value too, we thought Very attentive service from the John and Team with Mr Wong Senior still in the background . Speisekarte ansehen
