Peking Village - Speisekarte

Sweet and sour chicken balls had a very thick batter coating and unpleasant to eat, the lemon chicken was tough and dry in bits.

I love everything about this place from the delightful hostess to the superb food. Such a pity I'm too far away to visit every week!

The food was delicious! We just finished our chicken and beef curries and thoroughly enjoyed them. Our delivery arrived within the hour, which was great considering the weather. Thank you x.

Recently have only been able to have takeaways due to Covid situation, but the food is delivered quickly and is very tasty. If I collect it, I always enjoy the banter with the well-known lady owner.

I was excited for a takeout meal, as it's been a while. However, I was disappointed to find that the chicken was very tough and the satay sauce was thick and unappetizing. Everything seemed to be overcooked. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Speisekarte ansehen

Dinner for 4. Disappointing to say the least. Dirty glasses , satay sauce tasted like it came out of a jar, but no taste, and the the chicken tasted watery. The staff only smiled when we came in and when we left. No interaction at all £90 with 4 soft drinks was not worth it at all Sorry but won’t be back. And wouldn’t recommend

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and have never written a review, but felt compelled to do so after seeing some negative reviews. I have never had a bad meal here. Some of my recommended dishes include: chicken satay, Cantonese duck, chicken with ginger and spring onion, braised chicken, sweet and sour Cantonese chicken, prawn toast, crispy seaweed, and char siu pork. There are many other delicious options as well. Enjoy!

A friend was raving about the takeaway from The Peking Village so we decided to give it a go. Set Menu for2 and a quarter aromatic duck. The service on the phone was friendly and informative, we were having a home delivery, a very accurate time for expected delivery given. The food was outstanding, delicious ribs, lovely duck,fantastic Kung Po Beef and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Not the cheapest, worth the money; we will be treating ourselves again soon Speisekarte ansehen
