I'm surprised how many good reviews this has. The food was nothing special. The risotto came out within 5 minutes so is clearly reheated.

This place was such a tourist trap. The food is tasteless and dry, and the employees are too stressad out to provide a good enough service. Nothing italian about this place

after a fall in recent years, a significant improvement this year despite a somewhat high rate. The service is still perfectable on its availability, the dishes served, again, hot.

Really good Italian restaurant in Cannes. The goat cheese salad as a started and tortelloni with ricotta cheese was very tasty. We paid 136 € for dinner for two people - starter, main course and bottle of wine. Speisekarte ansehen

It's a pain being gluten free but craving pizza. I had resigned myself to going without but so excited when my husband and I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant! AMAZING gluten free pizza, fantastic service and a reasonable price! Great place and would recommend to all

Good restaurant with some stand out dishes. They offer typical antipasti platter and goat cheese salad which were average. The Raviolis (cheese) and Risotto (Truffle) were delicious. I would vote that they have the best Risotto in Cannes, so creamy and filled with intense flavors. The Sea Bass and Veal Milanese was fairly typical, not that special I would come back just for the Risotto (they have Shrimp and Scallop Risottos also).

If you enjoy people watching while eating an above-average Italian meal, then Bella Storia is for you. Centrally located in Cannes, chef Patrick Foppiani and family give you both a great meal and a choice of tables--in, out, terrace, open-air space, overlooking the Vieux Port de Cannes on Rue Felix Faure. We happened upon this restaurant for lunch one sunny spring day. I ate a great pizza with ham and my partner had calzone--also excellent. They specialize in risottos and pates, which I'll try next time. Our meal, with sparkling water, came to 32 Euros. Not bad. Open daily 12 noon to 3 p.m., then 7 to 11 p.m.--great for lunch or dinner.
