We happened across Pipol and decided to stop in for lunch. An excellent decision! Our waiter, Johnny, was eager to serve and eager to practice his English with my wife and me. I thought the food selection was ok, also the location is good but the service was really bad! They brought us a jug of wine that had some flies inside so we asked them to replaced it and they brought us another wine with half the amount that we were paying! Also they tried persistently to charge us with something that we didn´t even order!

We were lucky to be there during the weekend when they had the medieval festival. The restaurant is nicely located by the walled old town. The place was very busy that lunch time but the waiters tried their best to be fast with their service. We had for our main course the beef cheek with red fruit sauce and potatoes. It was so good. Tender that it practically melts in your mouth. One of us loved the potatoes that she told the waiter about it. The waiter after serving everyone in our group came back and gave her an extra plate. That was totally unexpected but much appreciated. Nice gesture ... kudos to that!

Pues hemos conocido este sitio de casualidad, y ha sido una sorpresa. Pertenecen por lo que nos han comentado al Siglo Doce, mismos dueños y como no tenían sitio allí nos han derivado a este segundo local. La comida es la misma salvo algún plato puntual que no está del sitio principal, pero misma calidad. Pedimos dos menús, y ni un pero a nada. Las patatas revolconas, las judías, la carrillera y el chuletón, todo super rico, salvo recomendarles poner un cuchillo de carne para el chuletón, pero no de sierra, si no de filo liso, creedme que los clientes lo agradecerán. La tarta de queso buenísima, y el arroz con leche toda una sorpresa, para repetir. Pero sobre todo la atención, muy amables y... Speisekarte ansehen
