"I had a very bad experience in the restaurant today. I went in there with my family. We were given a table in the corner next to the working station which was quite noisy. We were served by a small man who was quite rude. We order 1 pizza, 1 calamari and 1 garlic bread with mozzarella when we finish ordering he said is that it ? . With a frown on his face. After we finish we asked for the bill he did bring the bill but he left it on the table and didnt come back. We had to call another girl to make the payment. I will never go there again. I saw other reviews from the past saying the same thing about this man and with every review the manager has replied saying they were sorry and will investigate. But seems like nothing has been done about this issue. 0 stars from us."

We attended a birthday party here on last Sunday. The staff are good and friendly. The party was amazing too!

Have been waiting for my delivery which initially was supposed to be here at 7.45. It's now 8.50 and delivery has been pushed back for 3rd tome to 21.15 never again..

I'm a vegetarian whose go to pizza was Giardinaira. I don't want fake cheese so I didn't order the Vegan Giardinaira. My bigger objection is that Pizza Express offers me no avenue to tell them that I am unhappy.

We went as a fanily with a toddler had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone came to take us to a table. Service was slow,hardly any staff visible, when we got service it was good. Pizza was not hot when we got it but taste was good. Speisekarte ansehen

Ordered food from here and after 2 hours it still hadn’t arrived, then it said it was delivered but it wasn’t. I never received my food. So now I’m hungry and angry and it’s gone 9pm and I’ve still not had dinner. Very very disappointed.

The food is very expensive for what you get, so we only go when we have vouchers. Saying that the food does taste good, although the hot and spicy dishes do tend to be nothing like as spicy as suggested. The staff are great and look after you.

"I recommend this nice little cafe. It has a great ethos of buying ingredients from small local businesses. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The menu is simple and not overloaded with masses of different concoctions which works well and on most days there is...a special which the owner makes himself. Generally the cakes are locally sourced from local cake makers which you can tell as they are tasty and haven’t got that mass produced feeling about them. The quality of coffee is good and if I were to be fussy I would say I need to order a large latte as the coffee shot is too strong for me when ordering the small. Take the ethos of the owner and support your local business the quality and personal touch beat the chain stores hands down."

"I visited my elderly Mum today, she suggested going to the Derby Arms for a roast dinner as she'd eaten there recently with my sister. However they were fully booked, so I looked online and found Galu. The reviews were great and my Mum has only ever heard good things from friends and neighbours. So I called and booked for 12:45 Sunday 21st Jan 2024. We were both pleasantly surprised to see roast dinners on the menu ... Mum order lamb and I ordered beef part of their set menu. When the dinners arrived, you could see straight away that the lamb was Very Fatty (not even crispy) when my my tried eating it, it was both tough and chewy! As for the beef, this was cooked ok and edible, although I asked for the beef to be medium, but it was more well done. The waiter came over to ask if the meal was ok, I highlighted how the lamb was... the manager then came over and offered my Mum a slice of beef to compensate, bearing in mind she ordered lamb. Mum subsequently found that some of her roast potatoes were hard inside! I finished my meal, but could see Mum really didn't enjoy hers leaving a substantial amount on her plate, and having tried her lamb it really was inedible! We were then offered a full list of desserts rather than the set menu, having chocolate brownie and creme brûlée (both were gorgeous) When the bill arrived, I was hoping they would have somehow made amends, but alas no ... as Mum doesn't like to cause a fuss and it was her treat, I decided not to say anything, although the staff manager could tell we weren't happy. Having come from East Sussex for the day and regularly have great Sunday roasts in local pubs, I was hoping for something special in this restaurant, but sadly that wasn't the case. In fact it's probably one of the worst roast dinners I've had in a long time. I very much doubt we'll return ..."

"In my earlier visit, the food was truly excellent, and the manager took the time to chat with me. However, I noticed that no one mentioned the loyalty program. I found the display and the card only after we had already spent £50, which was disappointing. Additionally, while discussing my experience, the manager brought up an inexperienced employee who was just a couple of feet away behind the bar. It's frustrating when points aren't recognized, especially when there should be better communication among staff. Overall, it's a great place to eat, but there are some areas for improvement in customer service."

"I was highly impressed with this restaurant. The cozy atmosphere was enhanced by a real fire burning near our table. The space was spacious and airy, with a beautiful outdoor smoking area, a picnic garden, and its own carpark - perfect for any occasion. The authentic Italian cuisine featured high-quality seafood, including delicious vongole with clams still in their shells. While the service could use some improvement, the staff seemed more focused on pleasing customers than impressing them."
