"Amazing place!! We're getting married here in 39 days! (will get my fiancé to leave another review on the wedding afterwards! I wanted to say how amazing the service is here when booking a wedding! Everything is so organised and they give so much care and attention to all the details. We came in for a meeting the other day and we're treated to a fantastic complimentary cocktail! it was fantastic! We decided to order an afternoon tea and everything was amazing, the scones were fresh out of the oven and there was more food than we could possibly manage to eat!!"

"This unassuming restaurant is one not to be missed. From the second you enter, you realise this is a special place with a relaxed and upmarket ambience, and is beautifully decorated. The greeting and service from the outset is impeccable, friendly and helpful staff guide you through every aspect of your dining experience. I am one not to write reviews, but I feel compelled given the incredible lunch I was treated to. The food is second to none, and some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant. Restaurant Roots is a true credit to the whole team, and I will certainly be returning again. I can fully recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. "My partner and I just wanted to grab a couple of takeaways coffee 's last Sunday morning at 11.30am so walked into the restaurant to head to the bar. We were then stopped halfway in to ask what we wanted and then was told to come...back outside and order with a front of house person. We assumed this person was dealing purely for seating at the front outside as it was super hot and lots of people wanting that. We didn 't appreciate the sarcastic comment that we came from the young girl who was manning it when we said we didn 't realise and her response was well that 's what I am stood out here for ..So we said we will leave it thanks to which she then rolled her eyes and huffed! We next door to Poppins who couldn 't have been friendlier. I am sure she doesn 't reflect all the staff but that was our experience and don 't feel like we would want to return."
