"it was one of the most pleasant taste experiences of this holiday. I'll start with the service, very nice and always ready, friendly and smiling. we went back there the next day and again the food was top notch. delicious pasta, the best pizza I've ever eaten! amazing salad! the products were fresh and you could feel that they were of the highest quality! delicious pasta, perfect al dente, pizza with delicious olive oil. If we ever come back to Limona we will come to eat here again. I will miss these flavors!"

"Our visit to Ristorante Pizzeria La Baita was a most enjoyable experience. Immediately after walking in your struck by the warmth and home like feeling of the quaint, alpine style interior with its beautiful wooden beams and floor-to-ceiling windows! The outside grounds are just as beautiful and I imagine on a warm summer day or evening it's a great place to dine or just have drinks. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. To start we had a couple glasses of wine and a plate of bruschetta for the appetizer, which were impeccable. For the main courses we shared the salmon and spaghetti bolognese dishes. The food was well-prepared and delicious, while the atmosphere was inviting and very relaxing. A great tucked-away place for food and drink, to eat, enjoy, relax and just soak in the absolutely stunning Lake Garda region."

"Restaurant Gemma used to be much better. Visited in September and booked a table by the lake to watch the fireworks. The location is excellent and can’t be faulted. It really is the best location to watch the fireworks. But the menu and quality of food doesn’t live up to what it used to be and there’s now others in Limone which are far better. Restaurant Monte Baldo is the sister restaurant and a mere one minute away. It’s the same menu, a better atmosphere and far better value for money. The cost of the menu in Gemma has increased hugely and €21 for a quarter of a sea bass is below the standard which Gemma used to reach. We know a premium is added to sit by the lake, but €21 for a quarter of a sea bass and then having to pay extra for vegetables isn’t what the Gemma of former years used to be like. Perhaps that’s why nearly half of the tables were free on firework night when they used to be full, and at least seven tables in the half nearest the lake were free at the time of the fireworks. That never used to happen. We can see Limone is changing after the pandemic, but Gemma isn’t changing for the better. New restaurants are popping up and others have moved forward. Would we return to Restaurant Gemma again? Probably not. We’ve been visiting the restaurant two or three times per year for many years, but this year others are of better quality, a better atmosphere, newer menus and far better value."

"Family owned and operated by Vince and his mum and Dad. We met mum in the afternoon while she was making the pizza dough and we wanted to make a booking. We had a fun exchange and we were so delighted when we arrived with an amazing table over looking Limone town and the lake. Service was outstanding with a well polished team giving us Informed wine recommendations and listened to our request to have our meal shared and delivered slowly. Vince was impressive as an involved, engaged and proud owner. He was very charming and charismatic. The food was of a very high quality. Far above other meals we ate in Limone. The venue is high in the town and easy to access via the road. Views are spectacular Our favourite things to see in a quality restaurant fine stemware, high end Italian cutlery and starched white table cloths featured! Thanks for a lovely night Vince and recommendations for Malcesine."

"Bellissimo locale, da fuori la struttura non gli rende giustizia, con una sala pranzo di tutto rispetto. Pulizia , cortesia ed attenzione alla clientela sono sicuramente pregi che non si può non apprezzare. E' un Ristorante/Pizzeria, ma noi abbiamo apprezzato i loro spaghetti. Dove vengono proposti in moltissimi modi Le dosi sono decisamente abbondanti e gradite. Ottimi anche i dolci quasi tutti della casa. Prezzi decisamente corretti."
