"Food selection was great and the quality was very nice. Wine list was excellent. Service was very slow. The restaurant was full, but they did not have enough servers to maintain ongoing, prompt service. We saw several guests try to find their server or any server inside the restaurant in order to pay their bill. We waited a long time to ask for our bill. If you have time, it’s not a huge hassle, but when it’s time to leave and you have to actively look for someone, it is no longer convenient."

a quality kitchen in a beautiful setting with a very present and friendly staff. the only flat might be the prices that are slightly high. I still recommend.

Best place I've been in Lyon! we were having a get together with girlfriends and had delicious dinner and great choice of wine. We also took a couple of tapas as starters totally recommend! Very welcoming atmosphere and personable staff. Loved it all????

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
