Great place to stop for a meal or snack en route to Adeburgh. Always a friendly reception

Had a delicious meal. Dressed crab to start, followed by beautifully cooked scallops on a pea, prawn and parsley risotto. Delicious.

Tonight was our first visit here, what a Lovely place. Really warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back!

I can't believe how amazing the vegetarian meal I had yesterday at The Plough and Sail in Snape! The roasted artichokes topped with crushed hazelnuts, orange segments, and feta cheese were simply delicious! Yum, yum, yum! I can't wait to go back!

fantastic eating and service here yesterday evening after we found this pub when our local has not served eating! I have not enjoyed eating like this in a pub in a long time, extraordinary meals, including the children's meals, fast and friendly service.. Well made youngs, it is a shame that we would recommend only here on vacation! our compliments to the chefs!

I enjoyed a delightful pre-concert meal last night. The Bingham blue cheese and seasoned pear salad was fantastic, and the main course of slowly boiled pigeon was incredibly tender. It paired perfectly with the crispy dauphinois potatoes, smooth root vegetable purée, and perfectly cooked stem vegetables. Absolutely delicious! And the strawberry frangipane tart with dipping cream reminded me of a cream tea—it was exquisite! I couldn't have asked for more.
