Has now returned to a professionally run and operated Pub, excellent food, clean and tidy at all times, with a happy a d welcoming atmosphere. I now adore it again. Well done to all the staff and the management team of Tommy, Helen and Michael. I wish you all every success. Tom Keyes."

My boyfriend and I live just round the corner so regularly go in for dinner, food is always served quickly and the staff are friendly. You get a decent portion too which is always a bonus! Highly recommend

Belinda and Keiran lovely landlords. All the staff friendly. Totally dog friendly. Food is good value for money and lots of it. Only a short walk from the canal. I will recommend this pub as a must visit. Annie

on Tuesday for the Steak night with wein down. was absolutely amazing eating was perfect house made chips and wobble rings. the new management has really turned this place, can not recommend this place enough and the prices are very fair.

What a fantastic pub. Went there last night for first time as was a friends birthday. Great traditional atmosphere from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Tommy the landlord and Mick the manager run a tight ship in there and it shows. Great night, great pub.

We popped in for a spot of lunch towards the end of a very busy lunchtime. We asked if food was being served still, luckily they were.The barman was very friendly and accommodating. The chef was also very friendly. The portions were generous and good quality. We had a good lunch before we continued our journey. I would recommend a stop here for food.
