"Having looked at this restaurant several times, including when it was called something else and not owned by the Intermarché supermarket group as far as I can remember, we decided to give it a try at long last. Primarily out of interest but also because we are becoming increasing disillusioned by the restaurant at the Campanile hotel over the road.O.K. it worked out, I think, a bit more expensive than the Campanile but to be fair that was partly our fault because a) we chose to eat at the Poivre Rouge and therefore forego our 15% discount for having a room at the Premiere Classe & b) because we chose a couple of extras to the basic buffet/main course menu. The staff were very welcoming and, a bonus for some I suppose, spoke excellent English. The buffet selection was relatively limited but there was still a more than adequate choice and, here's the rub, was far better than what is now being served across the road. Main courses were excellent, my full duck breast in particular, and my wife's steak was cooked "a point" to perfection, O.K. the extra side dishes we ordered were a tad disappointing, my piperade wasn't anywhere near as good as I've had in a restaurant in Biarritz and my wife's side salad was basically just a few lettuce leaves. "Could do better" would be the comment on that score but after about 10hrs. driving from the Limousin we weren't going to complain! One thing we did miss in relation to the Campanile, apart from the 15% off the bill!, was the fact that there was no buffet pud offering as we normally go for the buffet starter, main course, buffet pud fixed price menu there and to be fair to the Louvre Hotels group that buffet, despite being bought in "sample size" desserts is rather good as the selection is so varied that there must be something to suit everyone on display. The wine was a tad more expensive than at the Campanile, there's no monthly promotion for example & I can't remember what was on offer as regards a house wine carafe. We went for the old faithful of Cotes du Rhone and had no complaint as to the price or quality of that. All in all a good alternative to the Campanile, if you don't mind sacrificing your 15% dicount if staying at the Premiere Classe, and well worth using if staying at the Kyriad next door - although to get there may still be a bit of a walk, especially if the weather isn't being kind. At least there's no main road to cross as there is from the Premiere Classe & Campanile!"

Very nice staff, very clean. Very well placed compared to the exit of the highway. Quality products with a good choice. Especially this cracked ****. It's a shame that with the sanitary conditions, there's no longer this cold buffet. I've been here for years and I'm going on.

We stopped at the Poivre Rouge on our way to get the car ferry from Dunkerque. The first lady that greeted us was not really very friendly, but she didn't seem to speak English so that might have been why. Our waitress, Emilia, was lovely and very attentive! The service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, there is very little on the menu for vegetarians - I had the salad plate as this was one of the only options (the other was a goat's cheese toast) but then found that almost all of the salads on the salad bar actually contained fish or meat, so this was disappointing. Lots of the salads were pickled or very mayonnaise-heavy, so I'd probably recommend having it as a side or starter rather...

"We had come to spend a moment with family, after 7 months without resto. everything was going well but although pizza is a family restaurant.. and we have children... it's hard to bear children screaming to run tap on the furniture without parents or staff worrying about our well being at us... a little bit of noise I don't bother children it moves ... but there are limits. the children almost hit the shelf of the server .... One's freedom stops there or begins that of others! So when we showed our raz the bowl at the end of a long time... by a cry of exasperation certainly not very diplolate but there was really something to pierce a cable in this vacarma in an almost empty restaurant... and the staff who didn't say anything!! The top fight with the family in question The parents of these children e rise insult us to invite us out to stick one. My spouse gets up because we're not gonna get insulted. The waitresses calm the game, fortunately, miss this bad time not a word of understanding! No coffee offered! We must therefore be silent! We came regularly because the staff is nice..more now more than a ticket buffet, covid cause and thinking to have a plate of entrances it is now paying.. from who makes fun.? there is still no garnish on pizzas that still have a material cost to the shave of the pâquerettes being cooked in a restaurant that cartons I know an egg. 5 euros chicken stock. The margin is good... It's a business where you have to think of offering fun to people and not just profitability... in order to have accustomed people who come to eat when the restaurant is empty an evening of game.! This kind of restaurant makes fun of customer loyalty there are always credules people to go.. As usual the friendly staff saved the blow although tonight he should have intervened despite the absence of a manager! They are probably paid a misery..live restoration We are not here to come back"

"Oh, my **** velu! You, dear French capitalist democratic citizens from the france, are fortunate to possess this kind of jewels in your cities. This restaurant is the mirror of the beauty of French gastronomy, moreover, the flunch and the france begins both by a f , it is a sign of the cosmic flow, to my humble and colossal advice similar to that of a m5-size nuts. before going to eat there I rushed to read with my little famounette that I love and that I'd like until my pulmonary chebrosis reduces me in the powder of a path to the articles that the users of tripadvisor wrote and to my great surprise, there were negatives, personally as a socialist, I can't get to imagine this kind of human abrasion I would like first to talk to you about my meal that was very succulent, it is a great dish of mytilus edulis more comuntely called mussels that we shared with my poucinette that is no other than my wife more comunely known as Valérie-Chantale-Guenièvres delapoutre. for a liver, I was able to find them boned, no rigid surface was found at the interieur of the spongy body. as a drink, there was water and binouze and you begin to know, as a singer would say, alcohol is naturally sparkling water. When at the price, it is as fabulous as our good gods. In the end, I can only recommend you strongly with a lot of fortitude this palace of flavor in which I will certainly with a lot of surety return in 24 hours."
