Polpa Burger Trattoria

I ordered a burger well done and after a lengthy wait for me food, the burger came to me rare. I had to send it back for another burger which did come well done the time.

Such a great spot! The burger and fries I had WAS SOOO GOOD!! My sister had the wings. She said the wings were a bit fatty but the sauce was good. Excellent for people watching.

We booked at reservation and got to the restaurant to find they were closed. I called them and they said they don’t open until and they don’t take reservations on Sunday until after Speisekarte ansehen

The service was absolutely terrible. My girlfriend and I went and our server served everyone else before us. We waited minutes just for him to take our order, we didn’t get our drinks, our food was super cold, and the vibe was just off.

14th Oct. Was a lovely place, had great atmosphere. Leading up to game day. Food was not up to standard. Ribs chicken wings over cook. Fries ocercookedand greasy. Asked for onion rings and got slivers of onion , cold and unable to be eaten. Verydisappointed.

Not great. Fries were cold when the food came out. Burger was warm but pretty salty. Considering it was $30 for a burger I would not recommend. Surprised there are so many other good reviews here because I had high hopes. Do yourself a favor and head to theshake shack down the street. Speisekarte ansehen

The burger was fabulous, one of the best I’ve eaten! Fries were perfectly crispy, onion ring had a great taste but would have preferred larger pieces of onion instead of strings. Milkshake was definitely good but not worth It took a long time to get our food but that could be due to a shortage of employees (like many restaurants these days).

Came here after a conference and it was so good that I had friends come meet me. Carmen was working the bar and she was amazing, knew the beers and had excellent recommendations. She helped us to create amazing burgers from the build your own menuand made delicious cocktails to go with them. This was a memorable experience and when I come back to Chicago the Burger Barwill be what I base my entire trip around. Thank you to everyone and especially to Carmen!

They were closed on the day we had reservations for. It was only for the lunch service on that day due to a provision shortage, but that was the exact time we had the reservation It would be good for some way to communicate instances like that from the restaurant to OpenTable so the customer using the reservation app can be notified and adjust their plans. We had to go through some work to secure parking in the city near this place to just have to go find somewhere else to dine. Speisekarte ansehen
