"We had my grandmothers 90th birthday party at the ponty inn Friday and sion and his team were fabulous from start to finish! The room was lovely , very helpful staff , the buffet food was plentiful and absolutely delicious ! Fantastic service last night for food and so reasonable .Great atmosphere and made to feel very welcome. Another fab visit, walk along the river and then another lovely meal today. Food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Dog friendly is an understatement, they are amazing, dog menu is huge, treats on arrival, pigs in blankets for snacks, they loved it . Highly recommended. The service was brilliant and even though there were so many people tonight, the pub owners always made time for each indvidual person at the pub! : . The rooms available were fantastic! "It’s a lovely place to meet for food, cozily done. Food is nice and tasty, while staff are friendly and attentive. We had a table for six and everyone enjoyed. There were veggie vegan choices, and the specials board had some good looking food. The pub is dog friendly (but not in all spaces so check before booking). Lots of car spaces, an outside sitting area. There’s even a kids area outside, and I suspect there are nearby paths to walk off a good meal. Certainly worth a positive review, we are on a Tuesday and the pub was busy which is good to see."

"Foods gone down hill 3 of us ordered steak all burnt. Very disappointing when I told the staff they told me it was char grilled. Never have I had a steak like that there they have always been fine and not burnt or char grilled. Waiter then cleared the table and didn’t offer us any desserts or any more drinks. It’s like they wanted up gone as we spoke up about the food being burnt. Then I see the chef come out if the kitchen with a pint no wonder the food was brunt he was half cut cooking it. Avoid."

"cried out for an early lunch with a friend today, my friend had some special requirements and straight away the staff was attentive. we arrived an hour before serving food and made arrangements for the kitchen open early. my friend asked for a variation on the sandwiches and that was no problem at all. eating was beautiful, who knew that a panini could taste so good! I spend a lot of time with people who have additional needs and that is now the top of my list of places to go. easy parking, wheelchair accessible and employees who understand how to make the experience a great one. the personal has tried to make us welcome and absolutely nothing was too much annoyed. we will definitely visit again when the work envys us the next time. well done!"
