Poppy Room - Speisekarte

Really lovely cafe. Great menu, delicious food and very friendly service. Very popular too. Really liked the decor, particularly the gorgeous paintings by a local artist.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, the staff is friendly, and they are very accommodating to dogs (even to a new puppy exploring a cafe for the first time).

Service or should I say non service. Been in a couple times will not go back after today. Diabolical ignored on entry served other people in after me . I left and went Strawberry Cushion. Will not go again . Speisekarte ansehen

I stopped in while taking a short walk. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the artwork was beautiful. The coffee and tea were excellent and the scones were wonderfully fresh. We will definitely return.

I was disappointed to discover that the restaurant no longer offers a lunch menu for those over 60. This used to be a favorite option for me when visiting Troon for a day trip. I will have to explore other dining options in the area now.

Macaroni would never be my choice but after tasting my husband’s today at this lovely cafe, I’m a fan. The service was that good there, they gave me some away and my husband, son, daughter and I have been fighting over it tonight for dinner. Thank you very much x Speisekarte ansehen

This is our favourite place to go for lunch or coffee and a cake. Very clean and fresh, staff helpful and very cheery. A good pensioners lunch which is good value. The macaroni cheese is one of the best. It is also very dog friendly which is perfect for our dachshund.

After a walk on the beach wr headed ro the poppy room as this acfe allowed dogs . We were not disappointed the chicken and rice soup was one of the best homemade soups we've had!!! ... lovely bacon brown nad cranberry toasties followed by delicious cakes ... we will be back ...and fresh water foe the dog ... **** brilliant

My son and I visited this afternoon on a cold , damp day . We were also here a fortnight ago. I just have to commend the staff for their friendly and helpful welcome . On both occasions I have had bacon rolls and scrambled egg rolls. They are made to order and were piping hot and well filled . It is rare to find rolls which are hot and generous ! Coffee is also nice . The decor has been updated and toilets are clean. Well worth a visit . My only negative remarks concerns a dog which came in on my previous visit . Staff were patting the dog but I didn't see any hand washing from staff afterwards . It advertises as dog friendly so I hope appropriate measures are in place . Speisekarte ansehen
