"It’s a bit of a strange place. The stark white lighting and the look of the restaurant is benefiting a smart daytime pizzeria and not somewhere you’d necessarily go for an evening meal although the place seems quite popular with locals. One of the waiters spoke to me in English as soon as he heard my accented Italian which was welcoming and professional, both our waiters were nice and efficient. Our starters were rather disappointing, my octopus was very chewy and my partner’s “ arancine” were quite strange in flavour and texture. My partner has this thing about eating food that’s she’s paid for which is why she finished the dish. The carbonara she had for main course was another 3 out of 5 dish. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. My spaghettoni vongole was ok although they lacked flavour. The best thing I had was the ricotta tart for dessert, I could have easily had another portion. It’s a rather frustrating restaurant, nice staff, very clean but the food leaves a lot to be desired. There are much better restaurants in the area especially for their prices"

"La Pizzeria Riva Baglieri, situata nel cuore frenetico di Pozzallo, offre un’esperienza culinaria autentica che sopperisce largamente alla sua collocazione un po’ problematica. Il parcheggio può essere una sfida data la vivace atmosfera della città, ma la qualità della pizza sicuramente compensa questo piccolo inconveniente. La pizza è buona, saporita e soprattutto digeribile, un punto chiave che molti ristoranti trascurano. La consistenza e il gusto ci ricordano che siamo in una vera pizzeria italiana, dove la passione per il cibo è evidente. Nonostante fossimo un gruppo, il servizio è stato rapido ed efficiente, un altro punto a favore di Riva Baglieri. È raro trovare un posto che possa gestire grandi gruppi senza compromettere la qualità del servizio o la tempistica. L’atmosfera nel ristorante è gradevole, accogliente e decisamente italiana. Tuttavia, l’illuminazione potrebbe essere migliorata. L’uso eccessivo di luci a LED dona un’atmosfera un po’ fredda che potrebbe distrarre dalla calda esperienza culinaria. Il personale è cortese e pronto ad assistere, un aspetto fondamentale per un’esperienza ristorativa completa. La loro professionalità e amichevolezza hanno reso la nostra visita ancora più piacevole. In conclusione, sebbene la Pizzeria Riva Baglieri abbia alcuni piccoli aspetti da affrontare, l’esperienza complessiva è stata positiva. Un luogo da considerare per un autentico sapore italiano, nonostante le difficoltà legate al parcheggio."

"Locale molto carino e pulito dotato di una veranda tranquilla e accogliente (dalla foto non si vede per intero). La cameriera è stata molto gentile e disponibile e le pizze arrivate erano davvero ottime, pasta morbida e croccante e per nulla gommosa una volta raffreddata, unica pecca: eravamo in nel locale e l'attesa è stata di una mezz'oretta circa, forse a causa del molto asporto. In generale lo consiglio vivamente."

"We arrived first to eat a pizza, the menus do not take into account those like me who, with age, begin to have vision problems. There were 7 of us but the pizzas only reached 6, a simple margherita was missing. We ask what happened to our pizza, it's coming, we finish eating and the mysterious pizza arrives, at this point we get up and ask for the bill. Bad first experience.
