this is the perfect local, much cold adult drinks and a simple yet tasty menu! this all have been in an amazing pub and good location! not, then they have to go

on a busy day, the service at this place can be crazy slow. but it has a good local atmosphere and a great place to meet friends for lunch. Eating is rather surprisingly good. go for the bark Sunday roast.

I have great memories from this place. Often came up here after a game of footy on the Heath and the staff (no matter how often they change) have always been friendly. Decent selection of pints and the food ain't bad either. Brilliant garden at the back for summer and it's a great location overall.

a beautiful pub at the rande of blackheath common. many beer options to delete their thirst, including 5 casks. table service and contactless or cards only at moment. service is fast and friendly. there is a menu that corresponds to most taste directions. sitting outside the pubs and a beautiful garden in the courtyard to the back. a great place to spend some time.

I love this place. Outside area is absolutely beautiful, staff is friendly and beautiful, the beer selection is great, music is pleasant, toilets are clean, they are dog friendly, so they can always trust that they see friendly pups around, not loud, not trembling. 100% favorite pub in the opposite. I didn't have to eat here, so can't speak for the kitchen, but pints are never disappointing.

I've always been passing this pub, but I've always been in a hurry and hadn't had the time for a visit. tonight we had a little more time to measure and decided to see if they had availability, which has made us happy that we have the last two sittings. great atmosphere and good food. I'm sorry to forget to make any pictures of the food, but the open fireplace is brilliant on a cool evening.

Nice vibe in this pub which has a large garden and welcomes very well behaved dogs. Plenty of seating in booths or armchairs plus a lot outside. Drinks were not as expensive as expected; the food was tasty but overpriced and the waitress didn't write down our order which I suspect was why the steak was served medium rather than medium rare. Rookie? They had a lovely singer in a corner of the pub which was so nice but it was too loud for me and they did oblige turning the speaker down which I really appreciated. I'll definitely revisit and look forward to seeing the garden in summer.

we came today to the sunday roaster after the princess of wales (15 December) and unfortunately we were really disappointed by our meal. the food arrived cold and both the lamb and beef dishes were overcooked and hard. the sweet and the kartoffels were also cold and undercooked. as a native who was already many times before in the printine of wales, it was a shame to see that eating is downhill. when our tellers were collected, we were not asked if we enjoyed our eating and had to mention this to the waiter himself proaktiw. we have not been offered any excuse for the bad experience. we will not visit again.
