"This was a trick in the dark based on other reviews. We don't know yet about Pescara. What a great find! It sits on one of the beautiful pedestrian streets in the middle, but not one with a bunch of discotheques, so it had exactly the right number of people walking by. We sat outside in a nice evening after a warm welcome from the staff. We had help with the selection of wines and got a great bottle. The selection starter plate of the cook was fabulous 4 cold bites followed by 4 warm bites, each of them delicious. The server politely asked if we wish a complete round or share an order. Splitting was the smart choice and it was nice to be asked and not just blindly more food than we wanted. I then ordered a Gnocchi with sausage / truffle Ragu and my dining room partner ordered filled Calamari. Both were fabulous. We were very happy in the end, not groaningly full. A sorpto, a coffee, a cap for the remaining wine to take with us and we went out in the still warm evening. The staff was friendly, but not intrusive all night. Fortunately, they helped us with a pick-up order for our daughter. We think this could be our regular place in Pescara. Why keep looking, it was all we hoped for!"

"Bel locale nel centro di Pescara e non distante dal lungomare si presenta sobriamente elegante e rispettoso delle norme. L’apparecchiatura della tavola è decisamente sopra alla media della proposta locale, tovagliato bianco, posate per il pesce e bicchieri pronti a sorseggiare un vino a scelta dall’ottima carta (con forte vocazione regionale ma con qualche strizzata d’occhio alle regioni vinicole più importanti).I piatti di pesce tendono ad esaltare la freschezza della materia prima senza inutili e pericolose elaborazioni, le fritture sono asciutte e croccanti senza risultare secche. I primi piatti provati sono tutti da sogno di una notte di mezza estate.Servizio attento, cordiale senza essere invadente.In definitiva un locale a gestione famigliare da premiare con una lunga ed assidua frequentazione, un peccato non essere della zona …Rapporto qualità e prezzo apprezzabile!"
