Lovely friendly service and the most amazing stuffed tiger prawns followed by sticky toffee pudding a proper winters evening treat in a real pub. Ham, egg and chips also highly recommended !

I decided to visit this restaurant on a whim since my usual spot was closed. I was greeted with a very warm welcome and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. The warm beef sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning as I enjoyed the smaller menu options. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Thank you.

Visited The Queen Victoria for the first time with a friend today served the most amazing stuffed Tiger Prawns nice juicy and succulent cooked perfectly. Not often to come across perfectly cooked food, the boss lady oh sorry landlady the perfect host and an absolute diamond to meet I definitely recommend this pub and definitely recommend there food. This supposed to be a family pub but it is not so I have been coming in her for 25 years plus and to night I was told that I could not have my niece in here after 9.00 pm clock there should be a sign to say and think they should be some one on the door check for under age the pub has changed so much I don’t think we will be coming in her as a family anymore

I visited this restaurant last Wednesday with a family member. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in a beautifully renovated interior. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The only drawback was the entrance to the restaurant, which was a bit challenging for me as a temporarily disabled person due to the steps and doorway. It would be helpful to have a ramp for easier access.

We went here for a family members funeral. The staff were lovely and friendly very helpful. Joe the chef rang several times confirming arrangements etc. the food was plentiful very tasty all freshly made. We would recommend this pub for wakes etc. Joe the chef was on the ball checked on us and the food and the table to keep clean and tidy and if everything was ok throughout. Speisekarte ansehen

Wonderful Vegetarian Sunday Lunch! I enjoyed the pie instead of the traditional nut roast, and the cauliflower cheese was delicious too. Thank you for a very tasty meal! The staff behind the bar were very friendly and the recent refurbishment of the pub was a big improvement, especially in the ladies' washrooms. We will definitely be returning for another Vegetarian Sunday Lunch!

The pub has had a makeover and looks great! The garden is lovely and the staff friendly. However there is a distinct lack of vegetarian food very limited indeed. Unless you want meat or fish you are in for a very boring meal. We didn’t eat here as it’s so easy to make a very tasty meal at home. It’s a shame though. We know lots of veggies around who would come if the menu was imaginative and tasty.

My first time at the Queen Vic in about 3 years. Staff were lovely, beer was well kept, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the classic burger and it was the best pub burger I've ever had – it was also significantly less expensive than the local competition! The chef very kindly came out afterwards to ask how our meal was, and the bar staff were friendly and efficient. I can't recommend it highly enough! Speisekarte ansehen
