Delivery food arrived early ,chicken madras excellent ,garlic nan excellent will use again ty recommended

this restaurant has gone down hill since the management and cook before, i used to love the old cook, the food taste the same what ever you order

Table was booked for 17.00 moved for 18.00 and then when I airved they inform me that Chef is stil not in the kitchen. I go to the different place. Speisekarte ansehen

Just had a delivery the food was disgusting it looked as if it had been reheated it was very greasy. The popadoms where stale . Called the restaurant to complain to the manager not available tried calling later and it was shut. They even put service charge on when they say delivery was free . Please stay away

First order they sent was completely wrong and then we asked for a reorder they said they were closing soon. Managed to eventually get them to send a new one in the end that turned up all smashed in the bag and all the contents everywhere. Saved some for the next day to reheat though and found plastic from some sort of packaging inside. Do not go to or order from here!!!

(online order) They updated the just eat app to say Out for delivery , I waited 30 minutes, they are 2 miles away. I called them to ask where the food was, they said that it isn 't out for delivery and that just eat must had selected out for delivery not them, yeah right! I asked the guy to be honest with me, he said why would he lie, then he said he 's cancelling the order and that I 'm to call just eat then he put the phone down on me! On arrival to Raj Mahal Stevenage Old Town,we felt very welcomed by the friendly staff with their customer care. Food was Excellent and worth the wait ,Chicken Tikka starter was very good and the Peshwari naan was light in texture and excellent . Mains of vegetable Kurma and also Chicken Kurma are the best I have tasted in Stevenage, the same with the lemon rice and mushroom rice .Would highly recommended to anyone in Stevenage and surrounding areas wanting a excellent Indian meal ,5 Stars

I went in person to order a takeaway. Spent over £40 even with their promotion. Waited over an hour for food to be prepared. Got home. All of the different curries that I ordered looked bright red and tasted the same. Mixed grill was a joke. No King Prawns included, as per the menu. Food tins Were half full with minimal amount of meat. We were promised some free beers with the food, for our inconvenience, as we waited so long. Subsequently, no beers included. Total rip off........NEVER AGAIN

It 's a carbon copy of any high street 'curry house ' in the UK. Doesn 't bear any resemblance to actual Indian food of course and is too focused on huge portions of brightly coloured food. Everything is average in every way. Shame really as it would be great to have a more authentic Indian style (I know that 's a rather broad remit! option in Stevenage. The success of the nice Thai place shows there 's a appetite (pardon the pun for decent restaurants so perhaps think about being different to the handful of other curry houses in the town and do something a bit special.
