"Rooms are modern and quiet but grey (including bathroom and wc). The only departure from grey is the wood colour upper side of the bed but its effect is eliminated by the office like grey carpet. They are in the process of renovating their balconies (see photos attached) which isn't a major problem for those staying for one night but I think it is unfair they don't reveal this for those booking (payment was in advance and is non refundable. I feel sorry for those who book for many days or weeks and that is not far fetched because the commute to Basel is only 35 40 minutes). My flight was cancelled on the 15th March due to an evacuation (for security reasons) at Basel EuroAirport. I got a seat on a flight the next day and I requested the receptionist to check out an 13:00 instead of the standard 11:30. She checked on her system and after a minute or so confirmed my late check out. Alas at 11:55 the cleaning lady knocked (I was in the shower and had the do not disturb sign on the room door). I explained to her (we spoke in Arabic and even joked) that the reception gave me a late check out she was not notified about. At 12:05 the phone rang and again I had to get out of the bathroom to explain to the receptionist her colleague approved my 13:00 check out and that is when I will (the hotel was not full). Breakfast had cold cuts and scrambled eggs. The latter were tasty because they are made with locally produced butter. Alas there was no herbs or vegetables of any kind in the breakfast (not even chives). I would stay there again on transits to Basel Euroairport had I found them well organised and hospitable but honestly they were not."

"Wir kommen immer gerne wieder in dieses gemütliche Restaurant mit unseren 2 kleinen Kindern. Diese werden immer richtig verwöhnt und können sich im grossen Spielecken (Spielplatz im Garten im Sommer) austoben bis das Essen serviert wird. Die Portionen sind riesig (zum Teil noch grösser) und das zu einem sehr fairen Preis! Fleisch-Freunde kommen hier voll und ganz auf ihre Kosten aber auch die bekannten Salatschüsseln sind eine wahre Freude (siehe Bild)!Ganz toll für Familien ist auch die Tatsache das man nach 13 Uhr immer noch von der Karte auswählen kann."

"Wir essen hier oft und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Restaurant hat Charme und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und Kinder sind willkommen. Unser Sohn hat sofort Farbstifte und Papier bekommen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und die Zutaten sind frisch und regional. Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Wir waren schon dreimal hier. Jedes Mal fiel uns auf, dass sich die gewohnte Qualität verändert hat. Diesmal war es Dienstagabend und das Restaurant war mäßig gefüllt. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten großen Hunger. Aber eigentlich hätte man das Zuhause mit derselben Qualität, wenn nicht sogar besser, zubereiten können. Ich war ein wenig enttäuscht von meinen Spaghetti Bolognese. Es war fast wie eine Tomatensuppe mit Nudeln. Wahrscheinlich ist das nicht ihre Spezialität... Allerdings waren die Vorspeise: Bruschetta und das Gericht meines Partners: Salami-Pizza sehr gut. Wir mögen die Atmosphäre als Paar, weil sie ruhig und familiär wirkt. Leider waren wir diesmal auch ein wenig enttäuscht vom Service. Auf einem Teller waren noch Reste von Geschirrspülmittel… und laut meinem Partner hat das Bier etwas merkwürdig geschmeckt. Aber man konnte sehen, dass sie sich bemühten, alles im Griff zu haben und freundlich zu sein. Für den Preis haben wir normalerweise bessere Erfahrungen gemacht."

"a clean restaurant, modern and aesthetic design. the map offers a variety of interesting products, for rather correct prices. only the dessert card remains relatively limited in terms of choice. the wait is a little long, but the plates with their contents are a real masterpiece, especially by the presentation of the food placed on it that is impeccable. cooking side: more mention for the pizza dough that is delicious, obviously decorated with its garnish. The dough plate was, however, a little too salty. outside, the parking spaces for the customers are rather limited, and inside, the proximity of the tables does not allow to have a lot of intimidation when a group of people arrives on the sides. at the sanitary level, the toilets are very clean and carefully arranged for an even more pronounced modern design effect. a restaurant that is worth a visit to discover new Mediterranean culinary flavors, in addition to the quality of its cuisine that does not have to be rogue in the face of competition from the sector!"
