"In July 2018 we had the plat du jour, consisting of a steak with more fat than meat and mashed potatoes. Totally unattractive serving of the dish, just the 'meat ', mashed potatoes and gravy. The meat was hardly cuttable, nor eatable. The desert was ok,...two scoups of ice. This costed 15 euro per plate. Value estimated at 2 euro 's. I read 'tourist trap ' in another review which I totally can confirm. And because my french is not that fluent, I can 't really start an argument. When paying the bill, the lady even asked if I wanted to include a tip. Please guess my response. The serving staff was friendly. No complaints there."

The dishes are correct in terms of price quality ratio but the manager and the oldest server have a way to address very limited people! Too bad this family kitchen doesn’t respect the spirit!

Wonderful hotel! Very cute rooms, shells, well decorated and very comfortable bed. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that we had a bathtub. Excellent home. We were not at the restaurant so we can’t say our opinion on it.

drove by sisteron midday and found this lively place. good parking directly on the square to look over our packed car. the plat de jour was ordered at 15 € and a very nice, well cooked sister lamb served. tasty and... good value. service was quick and efficient pleasant. Speisekarte ansehen

Correct restaurant. The dishes are good and the price quality ratio is correct. The staff is sympathetic, on the other hand the boss is unpleasant with the customers ET with his staff (speak badly, head up, etc.). This last point really spoils the experience, and therefore I do not recommend. In any case, I will not return.

There isn't much wrong but it isn't that special either and yet the price is higher than other places nearby for the same quality. I guess it's position beside the main road through the town give it a lot of passing trade without them having...to try too hard. I can' think of a good reason to go back when I return next year.

"despite a friendly setting and the welcome smiling our disappointment was very large. In the entry we took "goat of the jabron on cucumber tagliatelle bed", the goat nogât was interesting but I doubt that it was home, accompanying it a horrible tartine of soft bread covered with a large layer of dicks totally devoid of taste, totally dispensable. on the goat, a slice of coppa and a slice of industrial raw ham. no interest either. we are still looking for cucumber tagliatelles that have certainly had to crawl out of the plate between the kitchen and our table. given the general rendering of the dish, they are understood. Then come the "lamb duo "label red sisteron", , market vegetables and the "duo de tartare de beef cut to the knife" and believe me that they pass the entrance for a starred chef meal so they are far from matching the description. The lamb is actually a burger, we are told once the order has been placed, where lambs rather good for the blow is wildly stuck between two toasts (industrials again) that succeed the exploit to be both burned and completely soft. Unchangeable for anyone with taste buds on the tongue and not on the back. I'm gonna give you the trim, and I think the picture's talking about itself... about the knife tartar, what do you mean? If it's not a tartar. but an already seasoned carpaccio (pesto parmesan) passed to the mill. We'll put a little ketchup in the plate in case you want to make it even worse. ah yes, it's a duo because there are two piles and one is presented on the same vegetables as those of the entrance, as what lightning can hit twice in the same place in one evening. No dessert or anything else, thank you good evenings you can more and as the note is already worth 70€ (2 rinquins in aperitif and 2 glasses of wine in addition) you prefer to withdraw spicy. So we're not gonna come back, so you're gonna see if the adventure's trying."
