"received very nicely by the chef in person a little late hour towards the shade of the terrace with a small chic brewery look, under rock arcs or near the halls, the town hall and the church: beautiful place that would however need a little green space. the slate of the counter, this month of August, presented its menu (change each week) to (only) with the choice of entries, dishes and desserts: an irresistible desire to test everything. To begin with, the chef revisits a classic: the egg mimosa. cooking was perfect, the mix was good, with a fairly neutral taste. sesame oil, just deposited on the salad, was barely felt. this entry would have deserved a slightly acidulated vinaigrette to raise the whole. the pea and spinach salad with coconut milk and cashew nuts, original by its eastern notes, was very pleasant. alone, the presentation was a bit of a lack of colours. the risotto of Saint-Nectaire was excellent, tasty, with an ideal cuisine: a pity that it is impregnated with the taste of the shrimp. If only they had been tasteful and creamy, it would have been more negligible. To blow the chicken based on plants and lemon, in the spirit of tajine, was scented subtly. vegetables, pastry and grinded wheat, the rich composition, were accompanied quite well. the white and rosé of the freedom of the property nages castle of nages (Gard-Nimes) to the glass has totally conquered our taste buds: beautiful discovery! To finish this charming exploration, it was no less than that of the desserts that house the pie of the plums queen claude, with fine paste, as planned, neither too acid, nor too sweet. on the panna-cotta with apricot jam: the must of the must! a party! on the table, the sobriety and the colors of the food contrast with the whiteness of the plates, brand of the house. this passionate restaurateur, who clearly puts all his heart to work, seeks the quality and satisfaction of the customer both in the dishes and in the presentation, name and composition of the menu, the wines, the service, the decoration. even if there may be a few small apartments, total confidence for a new culinary stage in the area if the opportunity arises."
