"beautiful room with sober decoration. friendly welcome. some worries however. the management of problems is not controlled. When you have a (big) concern about the making of dishes as a gas concern, you have to communicate them to customers and not leave them in ignorance hoping that they do not tire to wait. give the nature of the problems encountered, say what actions are undertaken, and finally, give an estimate of the time limit. People are kind and conciliating. They will accept the deadlines. The plates have a gastronomic look but some details catch the taste buds. the cold foie gras looks more like a paste than a classic foie gras terrine (maybe had it suffered from heat?). the Saint James are well cooked just translcided inside but the fruits announced as exotic are not really; the skin of the orange quarters is not removed; Bunnies get into the plate, .the scrub for me was too cooked. the dish was good overall. for the cheese tray, remove the cheeses really too "made". The value for money is excellent. just a little more just in the assemblies and finishes: everything will be perfect. The proposal for menus in-plats-dessert is very judicious.Plats suitable for young guests. We'll come back..."

kitchen made home very tasteful, pleasant atmosphere. beautiful discovery in the moontown made quite by chance. products are very fresh and for amateurs I recommend veal rice.

good ratio quality menu 20 euros extra with hot goat salad in entry, salmon escalope in platen and enjoyolles in dessert. just bof bof the presentation of the enjoyolles and too much chocolate.Ambiance : 2 groups of 2/3 people in the room and no music ... damage . attention to leave time between the service of each dish. Otherwise smiling waitress and extra kitchen!!

good and beautiful spacious restaurant in the center. friendly welcome. menu at 30 € good value price : for the very good entry of foie gras or jacque sts that harmonize very well with raspberry or gambas flambées or perigord salad. for a good calf or duck magret or beef piece. In excellent dessert strawberry tiramisu or iced nougat! amuses mouths and tarts served with coffee. special attention for the anniversary. Thank you.

"Diner at this prestigious Michelin-restaurant was part of our absolute divine stay at Chateau d'Adomenil.What we really liked about this experience: very friendly welcome and a constant feeling of being pampered. Perfectly designed location and ambiance, including the aperitif on the beautiful porch. Aperitif came with very elegant and tasty amuse-bouches. In fact all the food in the menu was impeccable and cooked to perfection. Excellent cuisson and presentation.What we liked less: no flexibility in swapping items from the 3 fixed menu's, no à la carte option. Prices very high, even to Michelin standards. Especially the wines were overpriced and served in minimal amounts. These days it is possible to select great wines for reasonable prices, if you are willing to look outside the box and not (only) stick to the traditional French classics. For our taste, the dishes could have been a bit more outspoken. Especially the entrée with asperges lacked 'je-ne-sais-quoi'. We'd expected to be blown away by the food, that was not the case. Staff was mainly young, attentive and very dedicated. In my opinion, it would add to a pleasant, informal ambiance if you are not surrounded by 3,4 waiters buzzing 'round your table to refill water, remove breadcrumbs, remove plates (before being fully finished) and all that Michelin-fuzz which feels a bit outdated nowadays. But perhaps guests still expect such theatre in this chateau-setting. Taking everything account, we did have a very lovely evening, also thanks to our gracious and charming lady host. The art of welcoming and pampering guests is obviously in good hands."
